Our first VR piece, 6x9 takes you to a virtual cell, telling a story of the psychological damage of extreme isolation. Right now, more than 80,000 people are in solitary confinement in the US. They spend 22-24 hours a day in their cells, with little to no human contact for days or even decades. We invite you into this world.

Why not more?

I'm am a emotionally wrecked person inside or maybe it's just because I'm sick on my mind and don't know how to control it ....but frankly being honest with you I really liked it alot I mean he'll I always confine myself in my thoughts and my room weather the space was small or big call me crazy but I need more...see I think they should let you be at a lunch table eating with everybody a fight breaks out from the guy eating in front of you ...he stabs the inmate then hands you the knife with blood on it and makes you look like the suspect then solitary time comes your there for 24 hours and instead of lunch the police slides a blade under the door and gives you the clue to kill yourself

Mind boggling

The voices are actual voices in prison recorded by PBS. I took off my headset and was like, phew I'm at home lol. You will too, trust me, unless you like jail, then you're a little different, but that's ok too, not judging.

Welcome to the pity party

This is such a pity party. Poor criminals being punished. They conviently forgot to mention the part of how criminals get there to begin with. This "poor criminal" who probably committed a robbery, rape, murder, or some sort of outrageous crime that landed them in jail. Then they committed another offense in prison to land them in solitary confinement. Stop trying to make it seem like prisoners are being bullied around. They're the ones that committed a horrible crime so they need to suck it up and do the time. Btw before ppl say I'm assuming they committed a terrible act and they might of just did something petty... petty stuff rarely puts you in prison. Most do their time in jail (which most don't have solitary confinement) and they're done and out. Prison is for those that committed a crime bad enough to make the DAs want to give them years of time. AND they probably did something pretty messed up (like shank someone) to land a year in solitary confinement.
