Slow, Low Res experience with lacking UI
You start by choosing whether to search a location or visit a small selection of countries and even smaller choice of locations. Visiting a city like San Francisco from the air looks reasonable. The bridge looks twisted and incomplete. When you descend to near street level or street level the scene looks like something from a zombie film. The buildings look like something from The Last of Us. Flying low to the ground is painfully slow. You are creeping along and button smashing in the hopes you can zoom at a reasonable speed. If you fly high your speed will increase, if you fly ‘too high’ the horizon doesn’t load at all. You can’t return to menu or your search, at least I haven’t found a button to take me back out from a location, I have to close the app and relaunch to search a new location. You can’t save locations from what I can see, and at this time it doesn’t appear that you can invite friends to explore locations. My opinion is that the sales lingo doesn’t measure up to the actual experience. This app needs to develop a lot more to be something I’d recommend or use. Wander, although street level and perhaps renders just as slow, is a far smoother and welcoming experience with the ability to save and share and have social experiences. This app is over priced for what you get.
