This is the kind of rushed rubbish that can give the Quest platform a bad reputation. I was so looking forward to this release, only to find it completely misses the mark. Reminds me of the abysmal Grid Legends release from EA. META should not allow this on their store! Compare this to the amazing Assassins Creed Nexus, and you have one of the best and one of the worst releases this year.

Even though this game is meant to be a remastered version, it still feels dated in many ways. When smooth turning is enabled, you only walk in one direction, which should be a separate option. Luckily you can just leave snap turning on for head based movement. Swords clip through enemies on death and they they do a very basic death animation (no hacked limbs sorry folks!). Also doesn't feel particularly optimized for quest 3, but it's a good looking enough game. Need to spend more time in this game, but wanted to put this review out for first impression feedback and also to help those struggling with the movement/turn situation (as I did for the first few minutes).

This is really wonderful however being that the direction you can move is fixed and there isn't an option to alter this. Because I personally found it initially challenging to do any combat for the movement. I've had my eye on this game for a while so they definitely could have implemented those features.

I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews here, and I think people are missing the context. You have to realize that Arashi is a port of a 2021 PSVR title, not a game built from the ground up for 2025. If you come into this expecting the physics of Blade & Sorcery or the complexity of newer titles, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. But if you judge it for what it actually is—a remaster of a classic VR stealth game—it’s fantastic. It’s basically a VR tribute to Tenchu with arcade-style mechanics that fit the era it was made in. One critical tip regarding the controls: Commanding Haru (the wolf) is based on head tracking (gaze), not your controller pointer. You have to actually LOOK at the enemy or spot you want him to attack, then press the button. A lot of people try to point with their hand and think it’s broken, but it works perfectly once you realize you aim with your headset. The "Final Cut" update did a great job sharpening the visuals for the Quest 3, but the core game is still that 2021 experience. If you want a fun ninja simulator and respect its age, this is an easy 5 stars.

The game is completely unfinished and rough. I wish I could’ve refunded it, but I bought is on the 2nd of this month, and didn’t have the chance to play it until just now. And it was awful. Plus I cannot refund it due to not being able to immediately play it. Graphics: mid. Animations: non existent. Physics: bad. Combat: not fun. Collision with objects: practically non existent. Hit detection on enemies: terrible. Sound: repetitive AF. Gameplay: really not that great apart from being able to throw ball for and pet doggo. I wish I didn’t buy this game.
