Arizona Sunshine® Remake elevates the original, award-winning game, completely rebuilt with GORE-geous VR graphics and next-gen VR combat and weapons.

When you hear a flash of a human voice on the radio, your hopes surge - there are survivors out in the blistering heat of the post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon state! Armed with little more than your motion-controlled weapons and the scarce ammo and consumables you find along the way, you need to navigate the hordes of zombies coming for your brain in your desperate search for survivors.

  • Gore-geous graphics: Immerse yourself in stunning new visuals, including high-resolution textures and realistic environmental details.
  • Co-op multiplayer: Join forces with a friend in co-op campaign mode or multiplayer Horde mode for up to four players. But beware, more warm brains mean more hungry undead.
  • Next-gen combat and weapons: Experience the thrill of combat as you physically wield weapons, from shotguns to machetes.
  • Relive the original story: Built in bite-sized VR chunks that together form a full narrative, the campaign allows you to jump in for a short session or stay for the complete ride.
  • Brand-new mutilation and gore system: Discover all the ways to slay a Fred through our upgraded mutilation and gore system.
  • One complete edition including all DLZ: Arizona Sunshine® Remake includes all original DLCs and updates - Dead Man DLC, The Damned DLC, Old Mine update, Trailer Park Update and Undead Valley Update.

02/16/2025 - Should you buy this.. Yes!!

*** Do not have / Never played AS2 *** This is by far one of the best games you can pick up for Quest 2/3s & 3. If the whole magic and street wizardry thing or endless neon cyber ninja trash rehash is not your cup of tea.. Enter Arizona Sunshine Remake. I bought the original on PC and played it on an Oculus CV1. After 10 minutes with teleport and no smooth movement options, I straight up walked away for years. Teleport is an abomination to VR, Just my opinion. Flash forward a few years and I get myself a quest 3, Head back into my library as I had a quest 2 for a very short period of time, bought a few games but ultimately had to walk away due to life. I noticed the original Arizona Sunshine now available for my quest 3. I play it and I beat it, wanting more I see the remake and pick it up on sale as I am not a rich man, lots of family and this is my only source of gaming nowadays as I've given up consoles and PC gaming for good. First things first I love the voice acting through the game, it reminds me of Duke nukem of which I beat them all. "Hail to the king baby" I love the gunplay, most of the level design and the mechanics. The whole thing just works so well. I love the variety of zombies and I'm not a zombie shooter type of person I honestly never liked zombie games to be truthful They felt cheap and too easy to me. Though not an infinite array of zombies I find it fun and unique to be hunted down by what feels like an undead Walmart mob. There is a good variety of guns and they are all fun to play with. The ability to use hand weapons like hatchets and crowbars against them is not my personal cup of tea but I do enjoy it every once in a while when I'm in a pinch. Grenades are fun, I found it odd though that there was no dynamite? Especially in the mine. I looked everywhere for a single stick or even a bundle unfortunately none was found. Seems like a real no-brainer if you're going to give me a Zippo lighter and cigarettes, Moltov cocktails... No dynamite though. I wish there was more game and what I mean by that is, even with the two DLCs included in the remake I'm still hungry for more. I've now beat the game three times in a row most likely will continue to play it, and play it, and play it. Until I can afford the second one which will probably not be for some time. Thank you Vertigo Games, Looking forward to enjoying more of your games.

Lots of fun but way too many bugs

I played the game on Quest 3, I paid less than 9 euros taking advantage of the bundle (i already own arizona 2), and the game + the DLCs for this price makes it absolutely worth it. I had a lot of fun playing it, even if it shows the original came out almost 10 years ago. Still, it's not possible that a game so successful (which means - a good amount of money) is still so buggy after all this time. Examples: - car trunks and doors not opening when you actually open them. You hear the noise, you can pick up the stuff inside, but they don't physically open. Happened a few times - low memory issue. Happened around 10 times. - spawning mid air in the elevator (happened 3 times). - AI of the zombies getting nonsensical (ignoring me and just pointing to a door, like my character was still there when i was actually running in circles around them) We know the game is old, we know you're probably working on new titles...but show you're a serious company and fix those bugs already.

Fantastic!!!

I absolutely love this game. It never tries to be something it's not. Absolute ton of fun. Brilliant game play, extremely fun, and done with the perfect amount of nostalgia. It is 100% the perfect example of how to translate a game over to V.R. Yes I got "low memory" glitches but im pretty sure that was just a glitch as I was able to continue playing anyway. The graphics are great, the narration is fun and the plot perfect for the genre. Also a great experience for new V.R users. Please make more games like this! For my own information and anyone else excited for this game, could developers PLEASE point me to another one of your titles? Thanks for the great time!

An amazing co op experience but needs a

I am playing through the entire campaign with my buddy, and we are having the absolute best time. The game is incredibly fun, the action is non stop, and the graphics look fantastic on the Quest 3. Plus, since I am using the BoboVR strap, we can easily play for long time, shoot zombies without any comfort issues. There is just one annoying problem that the developers need to address. In Chapter 2, right after the bridge, there is a frustrating bug where the cars do not open at all. It has not been fixed yet and it definitely ruins the momentum when you are in the middle of the action. Other than that specific glitch, the game is super enjoyable and highly recommended!
