Audioshield is the music game for your entire music collection. Just download your songs using the Quest's Browser, launch Audioshield, and play with your own music! It also comes with 20 great songs ready to go.

Experience your entire music collection in VR. Audioshield puts you at the point of impact for every hit in your music. Beats glide in slowly for mellow parts of songs, then ramp up for intense parts of songs with cross-body, double-shield, and high-altitude hits.

Audioshield uses an advanced version of Audiosurf's music analysis system to automatically sync with any song from your collection.

Every song has its own online leaderboard. Punch hard, but don't miss, to get the top scores.

Amazing to have your own music library

The animations are a little bit funky as you can see them slowly approaching in "jumps" due to them not being smooth then they speed up. Wish the motion was a little bit smoother so it would be easier to hit by throwing you off rhythm less often. Google drive music downloading works flawlessly! The idea I love most is that there are 3 normal fun modes and then 2 work out modes on every song, so that the game is extremely versatile!

On the fence

This game is good but I wouldn’t consider it a great game , after playing Synthriders it don’t seam to be as exciting. The reason I bought it was so I can add my own songs so I will enjoy it better then. My complaint is the items you hit with your shield come from the sky a lot and your arms get tired very fast. I would rather see it come at you from in front like beat saber and synthriders. I’m also not sure how to load my songs. The instructions are very vague. Do we load them in as an MP3? All it says is load into your oculus browser. On a computer? On the headset? How do we get the songs to the browser?.Do they load into the headset? Please advise. There needs to be much better instructions

Loved Audioshield for years!

I’ve been playing Audioshield since it was first released on Occulus through Steam VR. (Loved Audiosurf too!!) Using your own music is why I love this game/workout. Others have complained of the “process” of loading your own music that it is tedious - but it isn’t. I uploaded my MP3’s to google drive then used the browser on my Quest 2 to download them to the device. Very easy. Very straightforward and definitely worth the extra bit of effort. This game provides an excellent workout, even within a smaller space. If you are considering a rhythmic fitness game nothing is as fun as Audioshield.

Cool

First I do like the fact you can play your own music which is awesome but please devs I think the shieds are to big and sometimes it's hard for me to see what am doing. and also the purple shied is in the way sometimes while using the other sheids to punch. if possible please add option to adjust shied size and fix that purple shied glitch etc. add more cool environments, features and SoundCloud integration if possible. and also maybe let users delete audio if necessary. look forward to cool updates and improvements, and yes this has the potential to be 5 star whorty.

Custom songs only via workaround

Liked the game very much - until they broke the download of custom songs. If you can access your Quest data via SideQuest, there is a workaround. Look for the game data in the folder android - apps - audioshield. There is a sub-folder called "sample songs". You can`t delete the original sample songs, but you can add your favorite files here, and they will show up in the game. There is a limit of 60 songs, so you can add around 40 songs of your own choice.
