Retro indie horror sci-fi fun

It won't be for everyone & I'm confident many will write this one off due to the retro visual aesthetic (it looks like a "demake" of Cosmodread), however those who persevere will find a cool indie sci-fi shooter with bullethell elements, Dead Space influences & classic boomer shooter vibes. Updates to implement things like increased smooth turn speed, a sprint button, more weapons, better lighting and some shadows will go a long way to making this game appeal to a wider audience & I hope to see it grow and flourish with time. I think this is the devs 2nd game, there's definitely a lot of promise here in such a young studio.

Pleasantly 😮 surprised

I got this because they mentioned some really good writers from different games so I was expecting not very much but at least a good story. Then when I actually got to the game everybody was saying that the graphics were not that good. But I think the graphics are amazing and the atmosphere the only thing is that it's kind of hard but it's scary and I like it so far I've only played it for not even not even an hour yet but so far I'm really enjoying it I think it's a spooky and I think it's actually really neat. This is one of those artistic games runs well get your heartbeat going and I think the story is going to be amazing.

Stellar

This is a great game, hugely underrated, I got in on sale, and if you can - don't hesitate! Worth full price. As others have mentioned the screenshots don't do the game justice, it looks way better in the headset. So great to see original world building in VR with fresh ideas and super fun fps gameplay to boot.

Good story/environments but poor combat

I like the atmosphere, level design and voice acting / story but the combat is way too difficult. I could only play the game with invulnerability turned on which spoilt the tension somewhat. For me there were way too many enemies, that just keep on coming, especially when trying to complete a puzzle at the same time. When the flying enemies reach you they seem to partially clip through you and its hard to work to work out where they are around you and actually shoot them. Combat was especially difficult in a couple of cases when youre forced to stay in a very small area or it resets progress. Overall though I did enjoy it and its well worth the price, but the combat could do with some tweaking. It would be great to add some difficulty settings (easy / normal / hard) and much reduce the spawn rates.

Lackluster and ugly as sin.

It baffles me that people say this game looks good. Almost no lighting effects, blurry textures, models and environments that lack details - this game looks like a Half-Life 1 mod! At first I thought the game might make up for it with good gameplay, but the combat is dull and repetitive, the "puzzles" are boring and only a few objects are interactable, so you don't really want to explore your surroundings either. The story might be good, dialogue is written pretty well. But I was so bored by the game already in the first level that it is hard to keep playing.
