Good, but can be better

Edit: As Cities Vr Enhanced Edition just came out, that is the game we are looking for. So players who played Cities Skyline, you are looking for enhanced edition which is not available on quest 2. For this version The gameplay is amazing, challenging in the beginning, with lots of goals to achieve. Unfortunately, after 2 hours of playing on the same map you reach a point where nothing happens anymore. I currently played 4 hours on a single map and i have build on every inch of land possible, optimized costs and traffic, payed my loans and built every building available.Now I have a budget of 400,000 dollars and nothing i can purchase with them, so nothing anymore happens.The limited space is really killing the experience for me. I really wanted some challenges after a certain point, to be able to link cities in between them or something else. I have no more incentive to play unless i start over again on a new map with no continuation. And also, how do you bring tourists in your city?

Do NOT buy!! This is not a full game!

There are no tile expansions! Your city is limited to a single tile and will forever remain small and lack developments! Sea ports have no use due to severely limited space, there are no stadiums, there are no airports! There are no dams. This is not a complete game, it’s more of a demo version you pay $20 for. Do not buy! Only for very young children looking to learn these type of games, but even then when they want more and to expand they wont be able to, and the game will die as they look for other games that will fill what they are looking for. Don’t waste your money, the game needs an overhaul update to be a full game.

Great game but severely limited

This game is amazing and has so much potential. But with that said, you can’t do much. It’s really cut back in the ways of you can’t expand, no airports, larger upgrades nonexistent. It’s like the Xbox game got kneecapped and lost 60% of its content. That’s what it feels like. I severely hope the developers will read this and continue doing updates and refine this game. It is amazing and it has so much potential. I really want to see this game for what it can be.

Second update: Please save your money.

This game was incredible. My initial review only had the con of a few bugs and build limit. My second update I ran into a significant problem. My main city with a population nearing 20,000 on the pine creek map kept crashing my game. I wrote my second review hoping to get a response from the devs like a few other reviews got, yet I received no response to my concerns from the devs. I gave the game 2 stars and really wanted to find the love for the game again. I took a long break from the game but felt a desire to try making a new city. I was having fun, but noticed something was off. After the last patch when they reduced the price they broke even more. The audio settings were all over the place every time I loaded into the game, some audio was just straight up broken, and the three radio stations that added in a recent update just don’t work anymore. I thought it was maybe a software issue so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Fixed nothing and I lost my more recent cities too. Decided to maybe try my old city one more time. Crossed my fingers. And it crashed after about 20 minutes. Again. The devs went on record in previous comments and said they had no more plans on major updates to the game. It seems like they are abandoning the game and the price reduction was just to squeeze more out of the game. Please don’t get this game. It is fun. It has so much potential. But it has so many issues that just deflate the experience and it is heartbreaking. Several bugs, small build limit the game can’t even handle, and no further support or communication from the devs. Don’t fall for the trap. Save your money. Don’t support a company that won’t support its community.

Good until it crashes every 5mins

I would avoid buying this game until the devs fix a bug whereby a 2/3 full map starts crashing every 5mins. The game is therefore UNPLAYABLE once you reach a certain point. If this is happening to you, I suggest you add a 1-star review, to motivate the dev team to fix what is clearly a bug. I've had no response from support[at]fasttravelgames[dot]com, but feel free to email them if you are in the same boat. Noting I've tried reinstalling the app and starting a new city - same end result. May 2026 - It looks like the game is not being updated, and I can see at least one other person who has posted a review about it crashing. I would steer clear until there's an update
