We do need more games like this!

The type of game this is and the care that the developer has put into this is evident. This was quite a huge undertaking to say the least for a single indie developer. I do however want to leave a totally honest review... The good: The graphics are decent and immersive, the story is engaging and has an eerie vibe throughout, the puzzles are clever without being overly frustrating and definitely gives you that feeling of satisfaction when they are completed. The amount of hours to uncover the story is a good amount of time for a game like this. There is a sitting mode and the game keeps you wanting to find out more. No dying, weapons, zombies, or stealth missions. No mazes thank goodness. There is a free demo to try before you buy. The developer is highly engaged, welcomes feedback and is constantly working on improvements. Most of all, the price. The bad: This needed a little more time to cook before release. The controls are non responsive in a lot of areas. You can see through walls, no collision through most objects and a lot of things that you cannot interact with. There is no self save mode, there is auto save but it doesn't always save correctly You move even slower than an actual person walks. There are bugs that make you restart a chapter, puzzles that won't trigger when you solve them and I found myself having to redo chapters and uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. The good news is the developer listens, is actively fixing all the issues anyone is experiencing and also takes feedback and suggestions and is implementing what the player wants. I would still highly recommend this, but it is not perfect and as long as you don't expect the room, red matter and ghost town type mechanics and graphics, it's one not to miss for any narrative driven puzzle adventurer.

These guys deserve our support

Just when you think we can’t get more story adventure puzzle games, along pops Closer Look VR Set in a university the dark empty moody atmosphere sets the tone. I played some of the demo but stopped as I didn’t want to spoil the full release, this isn’t a game to rush through, take your time & enjoy the quiet uneasy feeling that something bad may happen at any point. I am really enjoying the my time so far, when I stop I just want to go back in to explore & see how the story develops, I’m totally into the character I play, this a great immersive experience on par with Ghost Town, eerie but not scary. Fully recommended to fans of puzzle games.

Nice story driven puzzle game

There is a Strong sense of atmosphere and curiosity. I loved the combination of exploring, puzzles and story. The puzzles are clever and engaging. When you start playing, time flies. You just want to keep on going. I didn’t expect the end….

Brilliant!!

Bought this game in order to support a solo developer but boy was I surprised, it's a real gem! Very compelling story and gameplay, plus the developer is extremely responsive and you can only appreciate the passion and effort that was put into this! Kudos to the dev for a winning title, can't recommend enough!
