Great, but...

Overall, the game is fun and engaging, but I purchased it believing I could ride the roller coasters I created in mixed reality - traveling across my room while enjoying the ride. However, the mixed reality feature only functions during the building phase of the coasters within your space. Additionally, I encountered an error message stating, "We cannot scan your room setup," which I hope is just a mistake on my end. I genuinely hope that future updates will allow us to ride the coasters in mixed reality. Just imagine how awesome it would be to experience your room from a miniature perspective while riding the coaster across your own space. It would also be great to have roller coasters with multiple carts connected to one another, rather than just a single one. I'm still undecided about whether to request a refund. The game is enjoyable, but it's missing the mixed reality feature I was expecting. UPDATE: I kept the game because it is fun. I'm excited for future updates.

My kind of game!

Very fun and relaxing puzzle game! Are you bored of another shooter hitting the store this week? Fancy a change of pace? Still need that adrenaline rush though? Look no further than 'Rollercoastermania!' There are plenty of challenges across 4 campaign modes that introduce new gadgets and devices to spice up the ride as well as a sandbox mode to get really creative! My favourite part? When you complete the track you get to ride it! Such a fun and clever idea and very appealing to puzzle enthusiasts and rollercoaster fans alike! The game is very well designed and clearly has had a lot of love, passion and creativity put into the controls, visuals and various ways to complete the tracks! My favourite is the Cannon! Sssh! No more spoilers! Pick up this very affordable game today, you won't regret it ❤️

unexpectedly amazing!!

I bought this game because I was looking for a good roller coaster builder to use to sketch out ideas before making them in no limits 2. This one seemed good but I didn't expect much. I was so pleasantly surprised with how much there is to this game especially with campaign mode. it's not the most accurate and some turns can be a a bit odd but it's pretty close and it's super fun and easy to use. I could play for hours I love this !

Good but has some issues.

The main reason I bought this game was because I wanted to build roller coasters around my house in passthrough, and it definitely lived up to that hype…the first time. MAIN PROBLEM: When you save a rollercoaster and then open it later to continue working on it, the app has trouble remembering the position and scale of the rollercoaster. I don't know much about how vr games are developed, so I don't know how easy or hard it is to make it remember where it is, but this feature would be much needed. But if not, there's sort of a solution to this in the game already. By holding the 2 grab buttons, you can move, rotate, and scale your roller coaster. The problem is that they make you do these three things all at once. The controls feel EXTREMELY JANKY trying to line up the rollercoaster while also trying to remember where it even was to begin with! This makes the passthrough gimmick feel half-baked, and makes the game feel like any mediocre rollercoaster builder, rather than a cool and immersive one. BUGS: Also the game is just super buggy. It seems like I find new bugs every time I play, because I have edited this review many times to report new ones. In the campaign mode, sometimes when you delete all the track, the bar doesn't fill all the way up again. Sometimes when I'm trying to build a STRAIGHT track, it will randomly make a tiny corkscrew that flips the entire thing. Sometimes when I let go of a track, the game will think I'm still editing it, and prevents me from editing/adding to other tracks. Or interacting with any menus, essentially softlocking the game. There should really be a limit to how much track you can place if you want to upload it to the online mode. There was this one level I downloaded that had so much track I had about 1fps and the game became unplayable. Some levels in campaign mode have hidden collectables that are supposed to unlock something when collected, but I guess some levels don't know what they're supposed to unlock, so it just doesn't give you anything and says something like "You have unlocked {null} in the editor!" On the victory screen. If you make a singular line of track with no connected tracks, you can connect that track to itself via making another track, which looks super weird and definitely not intended. If a car is moving down the tracks and you pause and unpause it, sometimes it won't act the same way compared to if you didn't pause it (it could miss jumps it already made for example). Tracks sometimes draw supports that can use a track below it as the ground and/or not be long enough to reach the ground (no matter how accurately your space is set up) In conclusion, I LOVE the concept of this game, but the execution isnt the best.
