For the price of 2 candybars...
This is a well polished asteroids game. They're not really asteroids but blocks which i don't know why they can't be rocks. Maybe was not in the budget or maybe they were going for the retro look. It looks good though. The controls might seem very wonky at first but the tutorial does an excellent job of easing you into the controls and the difficulty of the levels. If there's anything to suggest, maybe better sound effects and more shrapnel when the blocks get hit. You just hear a blip and a see a few pixels. Not bad for 3 bucks. Update : after some gameplay, I've realized that the way in which your ship turns and rolls has gotten to be very annoying. You pretty much have to unhinge your wrist to turn your ship 180. It would've been better if the controls can be remapped to turn your ship with the joystick. Yes, directions are reversed when the ship is coming at you but that is way easier to get used to than your wrist turning into a double jointed swivel to move around.
