How to use Hand Tracking properly

Controllers send wireless info to the headset… but your bare hands cannot. Remember that the cameras system on your headset is now the controller. If the headset can’t see your fingers well, then neither can the game. When making an OK sign to move around for example - aim the O at your face so your thumbs don’t block your index fingers. The hardware will be much less glitchy that way - and the game receives better data. Given you can see your hands in game, the more intentionally you can see your own gestures the better hand tracking hardware performs! Explore the Journal in game for this any many other great tips…

A remarkable adventure

I had played Ionia, the previous entry which was polished but short, so I was expecting a similar experience with Eolia. I was impressed with how much bigger this game felt. Not only does it have lengthy story campaign, but there is a great mix of large outdoor spaces and detailed interior environments. The gameplay is focused on puzzles, platforming, and finding collectibles, but the boss level late in the game was a nice challenging addition. I tried the hand tracking controls for the first hour which work OK but not perfectly, so I switched back to controllers after that. The story is music-focused and may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's encouraging to see that there are developers willing to make a unique single player VR adventure that isn't just another wave shooter or rouge-like.

Way better than Ionia

I loved Ionia but it was short and only worth playing on PC. Eolia is wayyyy better. The hand tracking is a nice touch, it is better to switch back and forth between controllers and hands as I've discovered. The developers are the nicest group you'll ever meet.

Horrible controls

This game has a lot of potential and seems like a really great story & idea. My problem is the controls. I got stuck so many times. They have these characters you talk to and you can either ask questions or say youre ready to go. I have issues with selecting that I’m ready to go to the mission rather i use controllers or hand tracking. I just get stuck every time. Also they don’t even tell you what to do you just have to guess and figure everything out on your own. No directions or anything. If you buy it you’ll see exactly what i mean.

I sent an email to creators and got some great peeks and whats next I'm so excited thank you by they. The story is so different and the world's you have created.
