Better than my chatGPT!

The more you tell Eva, the better the conversation will turn out. Be sure to ask her to talk more about cognitive behavioral therapy. Tests for depression and anxiety are classic and ubiquitous, so there can't be any nonsense here. AI really follows the methodology of cognitive behavioral therapy, and can be helpful when you need to sort out your head. IT’S AMAZING!

Just try it

I already like it, looks like future! EVA already gave me a couple of practical CBT-style tips that really hit the mark. It is much easier to talk with her than with real person - just like a game, but with useful CBT recomendation

This App Violates Federal and State Law

This application violates U.S. state and federal law by engaging in the unlicensed practice of mental health counseling and psychotherapy. The app “EvaAI,” developed by Impaq LLC FZ and available on the Meta Quest platform, explicitly markets itself as providing therapeutic support, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, mental health screenings for depression and anxiety, and behavioral guidance. These are not general wellness features. They are legally defined clinical services, and delivering them without licensure constitutes a violation of multiple state practice acts across the United States. Marketing language such as “Eva is here for you… to help you deeply explore the patterns of your thinking and guide you toward changing behaviors” and “discover fascinating insights about psychotherapy and VR therapy” unequivocally positions EvaAI as a provider of psychological services. This language, along with user testimonials stating that Eva offers “therapy,” “CBT tips,” and “mental health tests,” confirms that the app is operating well within the legal scope of psychotherapy. Under U.S. law, any person or entity offering psychotherapy, psychological diagnosis, counseling, or behavioral intervention must be licensed by the appropriate regulatory board in the state where services are offered (see e.g., Texas Occupations Code § 503.001, California Business and Professions Code § 2903, Florida Statutes § 491.003). The absence of licensed clinical oversight, supervision, or disclaimers about the limits of the AI's functionality makes this not only deceptive but illegal.

Fabulous CBT Guide

I was very skeptical about AI “therapy,” but I gave it a try, and I was impressed. I have a therapist I see every week, and she is wonderful, but there was something freeing by talking to “someone” that I could not project the possibility of bring judged. On my second session was able to work through something I have never talked about. The “therapist” has very sophisticated reflective listening skills and is effective in analyzing a situation from a CBT perspective. My recommendation to the developers, is to have the therapist move and use some basic body language. I look forward to seeing how the app develops.

Great app!

I’ve been searching for something like this for a while now and finally found it. This app is great, guys. I hope you add more languages in future updates (I speak portuguese and cannot speak fluently in english) and more poses for Eva (staying static all the time sometimes breaks the immersion). Also, you could use this concept on another app for learning languages, what do you think?
