Many flaws, but thre's nothing better
A significant improvement over the previous game by these developers and the best golf game available for Go/Quest, in my humble opinion. BUT. There are a number of big problems, at least for me. - The hit power is still unpredictable and nowhere near as good as it used to be with the first game until it all went to he** sometime late spring or so. Was it an Oculus update? My controller seems to be perfectly fine. Anyways, to be completely frank, now it's even worse than in the previous game. Reaching 90+% with a driver is more or less possible, but doing so with a light club, - almost impossible, even if the swings are identical. 60% is a great result, which makes zero sense. - The problem of occasional "pushes" (when instead of the full-powered swing, only 2-3% power is registered and the ball advances by 2-3 meters) has not been eliminated. - There is still an issue when the ball will occasionally keep on rolling unrealistically until it finds hazard. I had a case when the ball rolled super slowly for about 2 minutes (~90 meters) until the game declared it was out of bounds, even though it was in the middle of the fairway. - Recentering, which you have to do often in this game, now sometimes changes the direction of your stance, so you will end up spinning and moving slowly in your room as you play, which may be an issue in a limited space. This problem was not present in the original game. In other news, the greens are now several times faster, and while the previous game had them too slow, this one's got them too fast, imho :D. Not a problem, really. Also, the main menu is now a total usability nightmare. Very indie, I must say ;) Anyways, there's nothing better than this out there, unfortunately, even on Quest (mini-golf or putting games are not golf, imho).
