Good but core things need to be updated

So far this game is drum-simulator feeling which is good in the market. But below core things could be better: - Drum sounds. If I am not wrong, currently the game read an individual drum sound track. If combo goes, play it, otherwise stop play it. This makes the drum feeling bad. Sounds cutoff so weird, no feedback for my own rhythm, even I hit with incorrect hits, the drum sound still perfect, what I have done? I don't know. Also the strength of hitting has not feedback. - Drum feedback. Including sounds feedback and haptics feedback. Different hitting strength should have different hitting sounds as well as different strength haptics. - Notes sometime way hard to read. Especially for fast songs, some notes squeezed together and hard to recognize the hitting pattern. If that is possible, have some group pattern concept will be better, such as adding BPM indicator lines so we could know the notes in this part or that part. Like AAAB ABBA could insert a separator in between the two part to make the notes easier to read. - Notes will be hit if just the notes had been “touched” but not “drummed”. - Stick angle is weird, I think the stick should not be “hold” so tight. - Custom songs support could be one important thing. Hope the game could be better for formal full version. ------------------------------------------------------ updated at 10/5/2021: After updated to v1.1 it is much better. Here are some items could be better still: 1. stick angle should be configurable. Currently so vertical to palm but in realistic it should be more straight to palm. So configurable stick angle could be best. 2. This should be kind of critical item impact the feeling. Currently hit on drum will not have actual drum sound, the drums sound still come from one individual drum track. I believe not using the drum track, instead, use actual individual drum sounds will be great. Say, hit bass drum only have bass drum sound, any time hit on the bass drum it will have bass drum sound. It could provide gamer more flexibility to play, they can strictly follow the notes, or add some additional hit for better performance if he/she will. Additionally, if different hitting strength will have different drum sound volume that should be perfect. 3. Notes indicators could be better. Currently if contains many notes, that should be hard to identify the notes require hit at the same time. 4. Custom songs should be perfect. Also I know there are some Unity engine components can analyse the music files' beat to generate the notes. You could consider use those library to auto-generate notes for our own songs. If that is achieved, I believe this game could be unbeatable, even compare to other kinds of music games. Generally, I suggest can refer to “beat arena”, it's drum mode feels fantastic. So if this game can have similar game play feeling but within so rock songs, you will be so rock!

needs more work

potential but.... a, must be allowed to drop the whole set down. Seat heights differ. b, contact with the drums is awful. I know I am in time but they do not register the hit c, the hit point is not when the it reaches the centre of the drums. It seems to be as it gets there. Hence timing out. d, too much too soon. Songs are almost impossible for even an experienced drummer. e, The height the the hits cone to you are wrong. You should be able to look down on them. They are eye height. f, Tutorial is so wrong. Far to complicated. If you are trying to get a new person onto drums this will put them off straight away. g, You need to enable a person to yse the kit freestyle so that they can get used to the set up. h, Start with sraight 4 4 easy songs and progress. This is like going into expert mode instantly. As an experienced drummer I gave up after 15 mins. Hopefully it will improve so I will be coming back to it in the future but sadly for now uninstall. I don't see how you can charge for this in the present phase of development.

Wtf, happen!

3 out of 5 just for your lack of caring. That's it no more songs, no new. Changes or updates. You're losing me and many more drummers due to your lack of expansion. Did you make enough money to where you just abandoned us rockers. Shame on you and the lack of your awesomeness

Lots of fun, hoping for more updates

Over all a lot of fun and I still play this regularly, here are my thoughts summarized: - Great take on the guitar hero style gameplay for drums, it makes you feel like you're really drumming even though your actual timing is probably not that great :p. It's clear that it's supposed to be arcade fun and not simulation. - Some of the faster drum fill sections are near impossible to get consistently good as it feels like you're just panic waving your arms in an attempt to hit everything. There's no learning mode so you have to play everything at full speed from the start every time. - The game can be a workout of you go all in. - I think the game would greatly benefit from user song creation functionality. The songs that are included are great but the library is still pretty limited. - Maybe a learning mode where you can practice drum grooves would be great, it's much easier to learn in GrooVR than in paradiddle for example because of the visual aid. Over all a lot of fun and I still play this regularly

Great game has that rock band drums feel

I missed playing the rock band drums and other drum games don’t quite feel like they used too. This one does and it scratches that rockband itch. If you liked the drums on rockband you will like this game.
