Too expensive for what it is

It’s cute. The graphics are great - nothing mind blowing. But I finished 2 of the 6 levels in 15mins with zero challenge. This isn’t so much a game as more of an interactive story. Which awesome - I love those: think Baba Yaga, paper birds, wolves in the walls with a bit more interaction but at $15 the cost is too high IMO. I think the sweet spot is $8.99 so I think I’ll be returning it unfortunately. I’d gladly keep it at the later price but for $15 I can get much more from other games/apps. Sorry devs. I hate to leave a bad review but your pricing is what warranted me writing one. I couldn’t let myself get into the story because I was focused on the fact that I paid $15 for this experience.

Beautifully Made, but ...

Firstly and most importantly, Luna is very beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere of self belief and acceptance. However, it is very simplistic, I think children would get more out of it than adults. It reminds me very much of the CBeebies childrens stories my kids used to watch, In the Night Garden and stuff like that. So as an adult I feel impatient with the message and its slow paced delivery. Now I agree that the world can always do with more peace and love and all, its just when you grow up you realise that what you see as peace, is someone else's loss, that it is impossible to please everyone, and life is incredibly complicated. So boiling it down to cute stories that give easy solutions is really only suitable for very young children who need to feel secure. So its great that there is this lovely experience for them on VR! I totally recommend this for young children, which I feel are a neglected area for VR, since interactive stories are exactly the kind of thing they love, based on my experience working with very young children. But I feel that as an adult you need to read some real philosophy and stop looking for easy solutions that make you feel good without actually doing good.

Enchanting

I downloaded this several days before I played it. I work in Healthcare and my empathy was waning. On a whim I opened Luna and started to follow the story. It restored my empathy and I found it completely enchanting. Even though I went through the whole thing, I will return to Luna again. A wonderful story, well told and well presented.

Beautiful

This was beautiful, I loved the artistic style, the music. This isn't meant to be a challenging puzzle game. It's a relaxing sweet story, it's category is lierally meditation and relaxation... Great game for when u want to VR before bed but don't want to do anything vigorous. Also could be a good one for the younger ones to watch your cast to TV while you do it. It isn't meant to be rushed through and conquered, it is meant to be enjoyed and savored. I love this one.

Maybe worth $7.99?

The visuals look promising but one soon realizes that much of this game is listening to narration about a non-story. The only activities are tapping a tune, planting a garden, dragging stars to form a pattern, and tracing a circle. Bleh.
