I’m struggling to keep playing. So bland
First 30 minute reaction. As much as I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere, I personally can’t justify the $24 price for this game. There’s not a single human or sign of life on the train. (I know I’m knit picking but it’s like the devs don’t have any soul in creating an immersive experience.) The picture texture is of low quality. There’s quite a bit of black flickering. Your hands are these laughable white transparent hands. There’s nothing you can interact with except things that are apart of the story. The frame rate is a bit jittery at times. Unfortunately there is no option to remove the vignette which further dissolves the immersive feeling. Your character has no voice actor and you have to annoyingly click for each chat option. A character says you’d be attacked if make any noise, but I’ve been making a racket ringing bells and playing a piano and was not attacked. The only positive things I can say is that it does have a creepy vibe, it has potential for a good story and the music is surreal. But visually, interactively, and mechanically, this is definitely not worth $24 . It’s giving me PTSD experience when I played syberia at launch. And still was not enjoyable months later.
