Great for Visualization and Studying
I want to preface this review by saying that I haven't been able to try the Anatomy Master yet, so I will update the review after trying that out too. I work in emergency medicine and have been using this mainly for self-study. I am a very visual learner, and being able to interact with the full 3D models is unbelievably helpful in understanding anatomy in greater depth. The information presented is nothing new, of course, but seeing drawings and photos in a book or on a screen just can't compare to having the body as a fully interactive model in front of you. Layered dissections are incredible, and the pre-recorded short lectures show the immense potential VR has as an educational tool. I can't begin to imagine how the availability of this technology could impact interactive education and telemedicine. I can't say much about the medical imaging aspect as this is not my area of expertise, but even without in-depth training, it's fantastic to see and interact with 3D objects of the scans rather than viewing them on a screen. Incredible potential here too. So, even with the anatomical part still unavailable to me, it has been worth every cent, and I can't wait to see what the developers have planned for future updates.
