Unfortunately doesn't work here

On my Quest 3, I can scan, upload the data, and calculate the results, but unfortunately, I can't retrieve them. The examples and the simple demo app don't work either. The app starts and the selection appears, but the result is incomplete and displayed incorrectly. The controller doesn't work. The graphics appear corrupted, and the app crashes and returns to the selection window. Latest Meta OS 81 (German)

Interesting and inspiring!

Of course, as soon as the app loaded, I did what 99.9% of anyone who tried this even once did ... a scan of my house interior. The interface is simplistic, yet engaging. There are several hints that drop as you build your space, the most critical being "the more and slower you cover with your XR view, the better the final result will be". I have not seen an actual data or waypoint limitation yet, but rest assured - the more you lean towards following the above tip, the longer you'll wait for the virtual result. I mean, a SIMPLE fast scan - a "test flight" of my place initially, took around FOUR HOURS to complete its render. Whatever X/VR format this chooses to save the render to, it loads into your headset *very quickly (*but I have the ASUS BE98 Pro Flagship quad-band wifi7 router powering my meta streams, so ...) Speaking of file formats, imagine how cool it would be to be able to save compiled renders in a SPECIFIC format - something you can import in Blender or other 3D level/environment creator! Maybe that could be seen as a potential feature add for a future upgrade ... and maybe (noob side is gonna show now) there's already VR room scanners, that can do just that?! But hey, I don't mean to steer you away from something that I think is quite a lot of fun. Loving it so far!! I'm curious, what if, I scanned INSIDE my house, and then ... scanned the outside? Only one way to find out .... 🥽🥽🥽🥽 out of 🥽🥽🥽🥽🥽.

Does not accept wifi

As many are saying, the app is not compatible with a lot of Wi-Fi networks. Saying that it's too weak. Idk if it is that you need the best wifi in the world but mine is not bad, I was the only one connected I tried switching to a private network and I was next to the router. So hopefully this is just a bug and will be fix soon but as of now it does not work for many people

Works in Brazil-but only in some cities

I tried running the Hyperscape demo in several places in Brazil, and even in many cities the SP state it would not work (on previous versions, it would show issues with latency, on current versions, it says there is no capacity available). In the ES state I managed to get it working, and it worked very well most of the time. The experience is very similar to other Gaussian Splatting softwares running on PCs (which makes sense, since the rendering happens remotely and the result is streamed back to the headset). Both the Gaussian Splatting and the streaming are actually impressive when you think about all that is required to make it work so smoothly.

AMAZING

This give value back into Quest. I must say as a hardcore VR nerd, I am very impressed. This is the future. I would like to share my captures. Suggestion: Meta staff should clean up the older version of apps. For example , It's hard to know, which version is newer. Hyperscape Beta or Preview. There are many discontinued apps, that actually say discontinued. Clean it up..
