This new version is Seeming like a nerf, with paid ads for netflix. I'm happy to see the animations all free, but it's not cool to have the free stuff less visible/accessible. i was looking for a new episode on that 180 series I was watching about witchcraft to see if theres a new episode, and couldnt find it. App needs to stop blending in paid content with actual meta quest TV.

App went from bad to much worse. 0.00001 stars. Far less immersive 180 3D and 360 3D is available. Lots of paid content pushed instead. And still no 3D movies. Meta could spend a million dollars and set 3D creators loose to document whatever they want in the world and there would be a great trove of 3D content. Instead Meta wastes many times that amount doing things like redesigning interfaces over and over again. And all the cool 3D vids I had bookmarked disappeared.

you guys at meta dont give afk to your costumers, your stupid nee update deleted all my downloaded videos now i cant watch anything outside when offline, looks better yeah but works like trash, thanks for making the quest 3 even more useless

I appreciate the Devs response to my feedback (I run a VR lab and we had a large library of saved and downloaded content easily accessible for students via this app. However, this new update completely removed our curated library and downloaded content, which was the most valuable feature for us. I’m not sure who is responsible for updates at Meta but clearly this person or team doesn’t use Human-Centered Design to benefit or support users.) However, the biggest issue for us and many educators who use headsets on school sites are internet and firewall related. I visit several schools to implement VR into classrooms but most often I can’t connect our university issued devices to school networks so I rely on downloaded content. Removing the option to download videos from Meta TV and play them without internet connection basically forcing us to find other content providers or don’t use Meta TV for classroom related activities. If you are passionate about this technology and its potential for education, please make our work easier by allowing downloading content like apps that don’t require internet connection. Thank you!

I doubt I'll spend any time at all on it now ,a lot of content is taken down it looks like and you have a bunch of paid subscription stuff in your face! Too bad, it was a really great part of meta
