“Mesmerizing.. the best Virtual Reality experience at Tribeca Film Festival”-VICE “Notes on Blindness is one of the first great virtual reality experiences”-ALPHR.COM

Arte Experience presents Notes On Blindness, a VR journey into a world beyond sight. In 1983, after decades of steady deterioration, John Hull became totally blind. To help him make sense of the upheaval in his life, he began documenting his experiences on audio cassette. These original diary recordings form the basis of this project, an interactive non fiction using new forms of storytelling to explore his cognitive and emotional experience of blindness.

Not recommended on Galaxy Note 4.

Produced by Ex Nihilo, Arte France in co-production with Archer’s Mark. Executive Producer, Audiogaming. Supported by TFI New Media Fund and Ford Foundation – JustFilms, CNC and Région Midi-Pyrénées.

Amazing

Great story, controls, animations, graphics, and sound. Most vr are games and getting pretty good, but the one thing they always lack is proper sounds. This is the one game I can say for certain you need headphones, the sounds are incredible. If you are looking for what makes VR such a good technology, try this out.

Stuck on loading screen

I saw a comment saying that the fix is to change language to English, but realized you need to do a factory reset to change it, that is not an option for me, please fix bug, I will give more stars when this is fixed (Oculus GO user)

Elegant & Intriguing

Perfection... I can’t imagine a more delicate way to share the experience of blindness to a sighted person than this. Hats off to the developers of this masterpiece. A beautiful tribute to a very obviously intelligent and captivating man. Thank you John for opening my eyes by way of closing yours.

App Broken, Requires Facebook

I've uninstalled Facebook after reading hundreds of accounts of battery and resource drain. BIG improvement, but now the oculus apps are failing. Very sad.
