Almost everything about pickleball one is fantastic: first and foremost, the physics are top notch, and that’s really all that matters. But there’s one huge issue: auto-movement while volleying. auto-run is a crucial aspect of all tennis-style games. if you have to run with a joystick, it destroys the realism of the swing mechanics; as games like first person tennis have mastered, the ideal way to play is for the auto-run feature to line you up so you can focus on your swing, to build your real life game skills. however, in a tennis game, the court is big enough to avoid pickleball one’s massive volley movement issue: in pickleball, volleying happens so fast you’re instinctively lining up your reaction angle as soon as the ball goes over the net towards your opponent. if auto-run always moves you slightly *only after* your opponent hits their return volley, it screws up the entire volleying aspect. let’s say you and your opponent are both volleying at the net. after your opponent volleys the ball, if you’re at the net, pickleball one will almost always move you from where you’re standing to a slightly different position just a foot or two away — EVEN if you could have easily reached the ball from your current position. this messes everything up. you’ll instinctively prepare the best angle for the return volley, yet as soon as it comes off the opponent’s racket, it resets where you are, but just barely — changing the mechanics of volleying entirely from a strategic rally to a very different type of reaction time game, where you can only determine where to strike AFTER you’ve been moved, often when it’s already too late. unfortunately, this makes pickleball one nearly useless in terms of practicing volley skills that can translate to real life. time after time, i’ll be in a great position to return volley and could have easily reached the ball from where I was; however, because auto-run unnecessarily moved me over by one foot, i’m now out of position. this is infuriating, because it sort of ruins what would otherwise be an absolutely brilliant game. BUT! There’s a simple fix, if the devs are reading this: simply allow us to adjust/increase the radius of the auto-run feature kicking in while we’re at the net. that way, it won’t keep repositioning us slightly when we’re already within reach of the ball. this would improve the game 100x, take away the constant aggravation, and take the experience from good to perfect! I hope this makes sense, because I’d REALLY love if it became an option.

The physics on this feel solid, and you can practice many skills and play AI opponents etc This is one of the top 2 pickleball games. I tried all 4 of the major games as of 10/2025, and this is top 2. I'd recommend this one and the other game that just has pickleball in the title. Both games have strengths and weaknesses in comparison to each other but both are the best by far.

I really like this game, and it's very entertaining, but if it's so difficult to find players at certain hours to play online, why not create a fun career mode with increasing difficulty levels? It's boring not to have a goal or a trophy when you're leveling up on your own. I suggest a career mode, and I think it's important to have one to spend more time playing without getting bored.

Just got a VR and downloaded this as I'm an avid racket sports player. This is the best pickleball VR game out and I tried all of them. Not sure how to contact the devs so I'll just write it here: Allow custom practice sessions. I want a ball machine just pumping out ball after ball. On pre selection screen let me choose if the incoming balls are mixed/random, drives, overhead, dink, volley etc. Score me based on how many I send back that land in the court (not the colored banner thing, but just if they land in or not) stuff I put in the top corners or down the line should be worth more points etc. I wanna have like a half hour session daily just cranking balls like this. The scoring will help me know if I am improving or not. Anyways I'll keep using it regardless but I'd love this feature to be added! 🤞

I was super skeptical at first being someone that plays pickleball regularly and competitively but they did a very good job! Obviously not perfect but definitely is close enough to have a lot of fun and scratch the pickleball bug! Hope to see them keep working updating and working on the game. You won’t be disappointed if you buy it.
