Range Day VR is an early access game and updated regularly with new content and fixes.

Range Day VR is designed to give players a taste of what an actual gun range is like while letting players explore iconic realistic firearms without danger of shooting the family cat. Compete against other players in challenging timed events. Range Day VR features several authentic firearm models as we have obtained permission from the manufactures for use in game. We also have plenty of other fantasy and facsimile modern firearms to expand your sandbox destruction as well. More than one is always more fun. While Range Day VR will initially launch as a single player game to begin with it has always been our intention from the beginning of the games design to implement cross platform multiplayer experiences.

-Multiple indoor and outdoor ranges in various day and night settings.

-More than 40 weapons to shoot. More added frequently.

If you shoot in real life you need this

As a 50 year old female who shoots in real life, I love the selection of ranges and guns. Especially the metal plates range. They are my favorites at the real range too. I am new to gaming, I hijacked my husbands account a few weeks ago, and started adding games, that said, the controls on this game were super easy for me to figure out and the tutorial was very helpful. I also own Gun Club VR and after playing both I can say that this game is going to give them a run for the money. It definitely fills a void in the market for people who are looking for a true range experience. I paid 14.99 for this game and had a heck of a time finding it as it was not listed in the game store but came up on the list at the bottom of an airplane game. I don’t know how that works but a lot more people would own it if they knew it existed. It does not even come up when I search by Gun Range. As a new gamer I have one issue which is probably due to inexperience. How do I get rid of the blue hands on the gun. My finger is blocking the white dot on the sights. I can still aim and shoot but it is in the way, my real finger is not there and I don’t think I have any kind of hand tracking on. Please add Sporting Clays and Trap in the future. That would make the game perfect in my eyes. This game is going to enable me to enjoy a sport that I love, target shooting, which I have had to cut back on due to ammo shortages and prices. I can’t wait to see the official finished product. Update - I figured out my hand issue. It was user error as I suspected. You need to hold your thumb near the xy or ab buttons on the controller if it is anywhere else it makes your thumb show as up which gets in the way. This has become one of my 2 favorite apps.

I've really enjoyed the game and my dad is always amazed by it, but I feel it's just slightly lacking in it's current state. So far the only accessories you can give to your gun are sights, and the fore grips are a little messy. Regardless it's still fairly realistic and fun to play. Edit: ok so they responded and I didn't even expect that, now one of my favorite companies in the world for actually listening and talking to players. The full game is gonna be amazing!

Critical but honest review! DEVS Read!

Hello, I received Range Day VR for free from the kind dev’s behind the project, the review might be slightly biased but I’ll do my best to be as neutral as possible, after reading tons of critical 3-2 star reviews I feel most of the criticism’s they bring to the table are valid and still valid to this day with all new updates included, I love guns and especially being able to toy around with them in VR but this game fails to do some of the basic expected things still but I can tell that feedback is going to be well appreciated so I will provide. The controls of each of the weapons might need to be tweaked slightly (add a function to the x or a button allowing for the use of the mag drop on certain weapons, use the same button to also release the charging handle as well on some weapons, add hk slaps for each of their respective weapons, add a mag pouch with mags in it for the currently selected weapon, tune and optimize the physics to reduce lag and frame drop issues, and tweak the ui’s for the menu’s and honestly this could be a solid game!) I have no issue with how the game is at the moment but I can definitely tell this can be a whole lot better than what it currently is, I hope the devs listen to this feedback as I feel it is all well written and thought out. Thanks again though for the free copy and please listen to my feedback if possible, If you like games like Gun Club VR and you can handle a bit of early access jank, this game is a great time waster polished or not! The base game is there and all that is needed now is improvements. 3 star review but I’d give a 3.5 if I could. - Hector

The app I’ve been looking for

I loaded this app up and was fairly blown away by what it is. Simply put, it’s a gun range simulation. Nothing more, nothing less. You pick your range, gun, ammo, and target and shoot till you’re tired. With ammo and range prices these days, this app is amazing. Perfect? Not really. Satisfying? Absolutely. Probably the most practical app on the Quest, and will be the reason why I am using my Quest more. This scratches that itch so much better than other gun range apps I have tried. Well done 👍 BTW I have been a Quest user for years and just now came across it. It should not have been so difficult to find. What’s up with that?
