Better Than Expected

I honestly didn’t have much interest in this game but it was available to play on Quest+. I figured I would download to let my niece play it. Before I let her play,I decided to try it out for a few minutes. Surprisingly,I didn’t want to hand it over and ended up playing for around 45mins. It is a very simple designed game and is a far cry from what I normally play but it definitely has an unexpected charm to it. I could honestly see myself putting hours into this game. I has a lot of replay value as you can go back and try to top your high score. I never played the original Angry Birds but I know it was an extremely popular mobile game. I would imagine the slightly addictive gameplay loop is very similar to what the devs accomplish with this game. I wasn’t expecting to say this but I recommend this game

I didn’t expect to love it so much

This game is brilliant. It’s funny, it’s charming. It’s nothing like regular angry birds. Somehow, out of all the 8-10 games I’ve played so far, most of them very good, I find this to be the most enjoyable. I don’t even like regular angry birds. It’s very surprising and I love it.

It’s Angry Birds

I think at this point, everybody knows what they’re getting into here. Playing it in 3-d in VR is a lot of fun in small doses. It’s the perfect game to hop into for 10-15 minutes and work on getting 3 stars on a few levels. Very good for casual gamers… over the first 150 levels or so, there was just one spot I needed help with because some of the level mechanics aren’t obvious. It loses 1 star for a couple reasons: looks like no expansions will ever be coming. Unfortunate, because this is the sort of game that should’ve been supported via periodic level update packs. The other problem is tracking issues. Very often the slingshot starts jumping around uncontrollably, and you have to wait for it to settle down before you can properly aim and shoot. Not game-breaking, but it definitely needs to be fixed.

Angry Birds as it should be

This is the best Angry Birds game ever made. I suffer from Angry Birds derangement, but this game has slowed my breathing, and my hands no longer shake since this version cured me after severe damage caused by overexposure to said birds for the last 16 years. Thanks to the Devs/Heros

Super fun and so much potential!

Way too much fun! The VR adds so many possibilities too. Would love to be on a castle wall and fight off waves of rolling pig towers and piggy soldiers. Would be fun to battle a friend as well, like turn-based battlefield style. I just love the slingshot/archery mechanic and it's done so well here.
