I’m not joking or exaggerating. I just finished this short 30 minute or so experience and I don’t think I’ll ever see the world in the same way again. My heartfelt thanks to the developers. And, to whoever is reading this, you should experience this short story as well.

tbh I downloaded this game to actually be Anne frank but turns out I was just myself and I couldn’t fight hitler

My youngest niece just started learning about ww2. She’s yet to get to Anne Frank but saw that the diary was on her curriculum and saw this in my library. She started the experience only to be to frightened to enter the attic. She said nothing to me for days, until today. She asked “Can I watch you play Anne Frank?” I said “Yes of course, but didn’t you play it?” She said “yes, but I got to the part where you have to go in the attic and I was too scared.” Right there she stopped me dead in my tracks. She should be too scared, because everyone in that home was scared. I put on my quest and started the experience (my first time with it). Not only is the experience an incredible look into the future of education, but a chilling dive into one of humanities darkest era’s. Needless to say by the end we were both brought to tears. My niece, effected by this harrowing tale of a girl her age in a time she can not fathom. The experience also brought me to tears and felt like relearning the Anne Frank/WW2 story. Upon reflection, I realized what really moved me emotionally was an experience I was able to share with my niece, one in which we both learned and cried. Please Oculus, I would love more historical experiences to share!

I’m a 15 year old boy from Britain and I honestly just installed this game out of sheer curiosity, and leaving the game made me just feel shot, such a massive impact. Honestly puts you in her shoes and it’s truly upsetting to look around the area.
