Brilliant!

I loved every bit of it. Improvement suggestions: Seems a bit too easy. You can use any weapon any time. Maybe increase/decrease the effectiveness of the weapons based on the player's performance so that if the player is off beat the weapon doesn't work. That way you don't have to add so many enemies. Make the graphics more interesting. Give each level a unique textured background. Use animated 3D models instead of boring shapes. For example sharks swimming to a fish or rockets flying to a helicopter or something. Add more songs or allow the user to select from his/her own collection.

Great if you give it a chance

I actually didn't get around to playing this until now - since the demo had no text reviews I thought I'd post this. Gameplay seemed awkward at first, but after a few tries I got into the rhythm was able to relax more and enjoy timing my beats to the music without feeling nervous about dying. It's actually a lot of fun, and pretty addictive! A relaxed mode where you don't need to restart on death still seems like it'd be a worthwhile addition, though.
