Bombaroom

A *true* mixed reality experience!

Buy this game! Unlike so many other so-called “AR” games — which are basically just pre-packaged VR experiences where you can see bits of your living room through the cracks in the UI — Bombaroom truly interacts with your real-world environment. For instance, you can place your cannon and your target/opponent on opposite dining room chairs, and try to arc your shots over the table in between, watching as the tabletop becomes strewn with stray cannonballs that fell short! In terms of value, it’s worth every penny: it has loads of levels introducing new mechanics, and you can replay each level in different parts of your house and/or with different goals in mind (e.g. beat it using minimal ammunition, or in record time, or with full health — perhaps by positioning your cannon under a hiding spot like a stool…) In addition to being fun to play, this game also gave me new appreciation for my living space (and how it might look to pets and children…) Highly recommended!!

Lots of fun for a small price!

I'm really happy I decided to buy this game. I almost never had that much fun for only a few euro's! The graphics are wonderfull, the gameplay is fun and the AR is really fantastic. Walk around in your room to inspect the targets, see the little bombs and arrows laying around. Challenge yourself to make every shot a hit. Great work, devs! Can't wait for extra levels!!

Fabulous!! Control needs minor tweaking

I want to give this game five stars but there’s a small controller issue where if you use the joystick to move your canon, the movement is not fluid. It will just stop moving until you redo the motion, which gets the canon moving again. I must stress that this is a minor issue and doesn’t really impact the enjoyment. It should be fixed though; it would make this game feel polished.

Fine but...

The only place I'm able to set the canon and target is my floor. Not on the table, couch or anything else.
