THERE IS AN AMMO DEPOT!!!
Hello there! I gotta say, all the negative, almost damning reviews Ive seen on here recently had me beyond worried for this game. Im a child of the 80s, so Ive seen Commando the film over 15 times. I wanted this to be so good, and after hearing the game could be possibly broken due to a non-existant objective (in this case an ammo depot) I took this as a personal challenge to find this ammo depot and redeem the game, by any method. First lets look at the other problems mentioned in other previous reviews - THE AIMING-DOWN-THE-SIGHTS --- yep, this si still broken as already mentioned. HOWEVER, the devs included a LASER SIGHT on the casual aiming setting, so I had zero need for it as most my engagements were medium\close range, and hip firing worked out just fine. Killed every enemy I encountered. WALKING CONTROLS --- Also not bad for me, Ive just played Rest in Pieces and Dont Die, which have the same issues with forward movement getting spotty. Just recalibrate the controller and try to keep in motion. THE AMMO DEPOT --- Ok, so first thing, kill all the enemies so you got a clear level to run through. Then, equip the compass, you can sprint by holding the trigger while moving which makes this faster. Next, go down to the lower section via one of the stairwells and go to the far opposite corner of the map. Look for a building with an open entry you can walk into, an enemy patrols it, its kinda like a hallway. Inside is a door with graffiti that when looked at shows a key icon. Hit the fire button and itll say its locked, you need to find another depot. Now, run back up any stairs and you gotta cross a bridge to the area just right of the starting point. Over there is a building with a green flare you can enter. Inside there is like 3-4 assault rifles and a couple pistols. THIS IS THE DEPOT! I walked around until text popped up telling me - there is a prison hidden below, find the door. The door is just outside this building on the outskirts. Level complete!
