not groundbreaking, but worth your time

I wish customers would recognize that the GearVR is not the Rift, and reviews should recognize that information. It's like buying a Jetta and getting upset that it doesn't go as fast as a Ferrari. -- with that out of the way, this game is worth your time. The movement is awkward and out feels like rolling around on a Segway. The visuals have a real sense of presence, and the use of reflective surfaces goes a long way. I find the best vr to be from the little tiny features that don't blow your mind, but the things you hardly notice. -- however I have just entered the cave after you walk through the area with booby-traps on the ground, but when I start descending, I'm not really descending but staying on a flat plane, and then flying over the whole island and eventually you breakout of the game and start flying through the assets. Is the a problem anyone else is having? I'd like too figure out if the issue is my phone, or a development issue.

That’s it?!

Even for a couple bucks, I was expecting more. When you complete the current content you’re informed to wait for more in the near future. Been waiting for a few months. Still nothing more.

Seems like a horror

I got down the elevator and then had to stop for air. Seems good. Might be too intense for me. Free movement, hold to walk. Speeds up too fast, probably so you can run away quickly... Which probably happens a lot. Feels a bit weird when its calm though.

Not bad, could be better

This game has potential to be great, but it’s not. The controls with the Oculus Go controller don’t feel as natural as I would like. You can only move in the direction you are facing. There is no ability to strafe or walk backwards. Also, you can only run. When you run down stairs you are basically just jumping to the bottom of the steps. The pointer looks like a fencing sword and is a little distracting from immersion. Perhaps this is better played with a game pad. The game is short and ends without resolution. There seems to be a good plot developing. I’m not sure if this is Intended to be a demo of a full title or if the developer is going to release multiple installments that have to be purchased. The visuals are good. I liked the monster that you encounter. The floor traps caught me off guard the first time I stepped on them. The atmosphere is creepy and makes you feel like something is always lurking around the corner.
