My pick for Golf VR

I tried out and played Golf+ AND Golf 5, (which are both way more expensive) yet for me this was the one I enjoyed the most. I like the feel, the mechanics. I like that it picks the best club for you but if you want you can pick your own. I love the light beam over the hole that let's you know what direction your aiming for.They have made it user friendly but also challenging when your ready. I'm still new to it but can tell already I'll be coming back again and again. The courses are beautiful to play. I hope it just keeps growing and improving and I hope it gets all the credit it deserves.

Early days for me but wow!

I've played so many golf games on pc and console and all were disappointing! This is the golf game this 59 year old gamer and golfer has been waiting for. Yes it's not perfect but apparently being developed all the time. Just played my first round and getting a feel for the play, hit 79 on the front nine and 50 on the back. I have to say for me, it's the next best thing to getting out and playing for real!

The most REAL golf game so far.

All the other golf games for Oculus Quest I've played (and I think I've played them all) feel unrealistically easy. I mean, the first time you pick up a real set of clubs and play golf, you are not going to shoot par like some golf pro. In real life, there is a serious learning curve and this game is just like that. I played 27 rounds before I broke 100. I played 54 rounds before I broke 90. I played 70 rounds before I broke 80. The last dozen rounds I've played have mostly been in the 80s with a personal best of 78. I may never break par and I'm okay with that. If you are looking for a game were you feel like and score like Tiger Woods on the first try, then this is probably not the game for you. However if you are looking for something that feels like a realistic experience - where you will have good days and bad days - and are willing to put in the effort to really master the course, then I think you will definitely get your money's worth.

Enjoyable

Liking the colorful environment and features. Holding the trigger means not hitting it by accident as much. I had to up the green speed - default looks and rolls a lot like short shag rug. Every VR golf needs a clubhouse this nice to have mixed reality martinis in when your arm is tired.

Super Fun and Easy to Learn

Game is super fun to play with once you get the hang of it. I have no complaints trying to get some buddies to play to see how that goes and how easy it is to establish. Can’t wait to play more. Played my first 18 holes this morning and shot a 93 (+21) New to Occulus and this was the first game I got.
