Overall, very cool animated story. Definitely recommend. Although there's no MR to be had. I guess Apple Vision Pro users got that part of the deal.

Amazing Story!

One of the aspects of a good film for me is when you can learn something from what you see. I put myself in Doyle's shoes and feel that sometimes the people around you can bother you and you want to be alone, but without those people you feel so alone and you have to appreciate the people who are always with you no matter what. Great story!

Deceptive Trailer

On the Quest 3 the graphics are significantly downgraded from what’s shown in the store trailer. Muddy textures, no real time shadows, flat lighting, etc. The Quest 3 is capable of better than this. The experience is like watching a trailer for a Pixar film and after you arrive at the theater, paid for your ticket, and settled down with your popcorn and drink, a movie rendered on a PlayStation 2 appears on the screen. I will give it two stars though for the character animation, that’s really good.

JUBILANT, FUN & SURPRISING

A delightful, funny, and emotionally rich VR experience, carried by superb performances. The Doyle-Chet duo, portrayed with finesse by Jason Isaacs and Haley Joel Osment, evolves over nearly 800 years, blending poetry, humor, and tenderness. You truly feel an affection for these characters, trapped in stone yet so vividly alive. The technical execution is flawless, the sound is spatially immersive, and the writing is clever. A success in every aspect, both in VR and MR modes. This is the kind of experience I love to share with my friends. The dialogue is delightful, as are the animations. Subtitles in multiple languages ​​(including French) make it accessible to everyone. With the two films, AJAX and GARGOYLE DOYLE, we see Ethan Shaftel's full talent, and we can only regret that there aren't more titles of this quality. A must-see. Gameplay/Options This is a narrative experience (360° VR film) of approximately 40 minutes with some hand-tracking interactions. The room-scale MR mode (museum) is an option that adds value, though it's not essential. The choice of subtitles in multiple languages ​​and the ability to select chapters are additional features that enhance the experience.
