Interesting take on music, art and VR

I like music, I like art, and I like dialog that makes you think. This app is an interesting combination of the 3. It’s a story told through music and artistic performances all in a 360 environment with generated art. You’re in the center of the musicians (and performance artists) and you’re encouraged to look around to take it all in. In between the different scenes, there are dialog sections that are spoken in a way that makes you think deeply about what is being said. (I’m purposely remaining vague here because I don’t want to spoil the story this experience is trying to portray). Your enjoyment of this experience will depend on whether or not you enjoy abstractions. If you think of things as black and white, you may not enjoy this journey. However, if you envision things as multiple shades of gray, deep thought, enjoy artistic interpretation and expression, then I think you’ll enjoy this experience.

A really unique experience

This is an experience. An experience of music and visuals as an art. Not everyone will be a fan of it but if you are into Performance art then you're definitely going to like this. It really uses VR as a way to put you in the center of the experience. Within this art/video there is a deep meaning and I think the story is told pretty well.

A stronge sense of presence

Rather than watching a concert, you feel placed inside it. The environments shift around you, so it feels like you are really close to the performance . A unique VR showcase: It pushes the idea of what immersive entertainment can be, combining music, film, and virtual reality in a way that few experiences have attempted. If you enjoy experimental music and visual experiences, this is definitely something for you. If you want to see everything, you have to watch several times, because the experience uses high-end 360° cinematography. No action, no mindblowing puzzle…. Just watch and enjoy.

Why I recommend La Pandoras Box

The concept behind La Pandoras Box Is such a good idea for a couple reasons. Not alot of people can stand up to play vr games or get montion sick to easily, where with this anyone can watch and listen allowing alot more people to enjoy Vr. I Expecially believe it would be good to showcase what vr's can do, an introduction if you will. The visuals are stunning and the sound design is wonderfull. I do have to say the only downside is the quality does shift abit in some scenes and it can stutter abut. But hopefully they fix it in the future. But please dont let it stop you from trying it as it is a wonderfull experience.
