Perfect Guard is a pure reflex game that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into The Matrix. Blue objects—bullets and lasers—must be touched with your controllers, while red objects must be avoided with your headset. The concept is easy to understand, but surviving for long is another story. The goal is simple: last as long as possible while the speed keeps increasing. Touching seven blue objects lets you regain health, adding a nice risk/reward layer to the gameplay. Everything is fully skill-based, relying on reflexes, coordination, and focus. The visuals are clean and minimal, which works perfectly here—the game never distracts from what matters most: gameplay, flow, and fun. Competing for high scores on the leaderboard adds strong replayability, and it’s very satisfying to see yourself improve run after run. It’s early access, but the foundation is solid, and it’s easy to imagine new modes and features coming soon. Simple, efficient, and surprisingly addictive—a great workout for both body and reflexes, and a fun way to feel like Neo dodging bullets in VR.

I give the game 5 stars for what it is. It’s a workout reflex game where you catch or block blue things, and dodge red things. Dodging involves squatting and leaning side to side. There are no modifiers that I noted. You get 3 lives and if u make 7 in a row u get a lost life back. That’s it. The scenery is outer space like and sound is generic upbeat synths pop like. It could be on a plain black background with no music and it would be the same for me . If you play a sport or have reason to need quick reflexes, this game delivers. I play it for like 5-10 minutes to get warned up and off to play my sports I go. (Hockey goalie, tennis, quetball and slow pitch softball pitcher here.) At 9.99 the game is overpriced a bit, you ain’t gonna play this thing for an hour, but to get a quick 10 minute fast twitch muscle fiber workout this game is it. For me this game is 5 stars. The gameplay is spot on. There is easy, medium and hard difficulty . Easy gives u plenty of challenge. For many of you it’s gonna be 1 star. It just depends on if u have a need to workout fast twitch muscles.

Does what it does well

As somebody else wrote "there's no bullsh1t here". It does what it does, and it does it well. More a training tool than it is a game (though it is fun). This takes a lot of what I get from other VR exercise games, and just condenses it into its purest form. Basically, if you're looking to develop ninja-like reflexes and movement, you need this in your collection. :)
