One huge issue, else top!

Why just 2 stars if "else top!" you may ask? Well, the glitch, where the ball goes through the racket is incredibly frustrating and has not yet been fixed after several months. This bug is a huge fun-killer which keeps me from playing the game since months now. I will gladly add the missing 3 stars if this issue is resolved.

Great fun, but a few issues need fixing

I'll start my review by saying that the game is a lot of fun. The three boards are very engaging and give your arms a good workout. I love the design elements, level challenges, sound, and graphics. The pirate level is a standout. Western is a lot of fun. The space level is my least favorite. The space level feels very tight and claustrophobic. The space level needs that room to be expanded in some way. There's a feeling of it being too cramped with too many things for the ball to hit that are way too close together. The only other thing that detracts from the game is instances where the ball clearly is going through the paddle. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's noticeable and ruins the game. I've noticed that if your racket is close to, or just outside, the roomscale boundary, you'll lose the ball. Those of us with limited play space need to have this fixed. Also, more often than not, the ball tends to be too close to the ground of the board level. I've lost a lot of balls that are going through the paddle when the ball is low. For example, if your paddle is just at, or somewhat below, the ground of the level, it's like the ball doesn't recognize the paddle is there. If the space level can be expanded a bit so that it does not feel so cramped, and this "ball not contacting the paddle" issue can be resolved, you'd have a 5-star stunner of a game. Lastly, to give people more time playing the game without the worry of lost balls, please just create an "Infinite Ball" difficulty setting. I can't speak for anyone else, but sometimes I want to paddle the ball all over the place, and if I lose the ball, I don't care because it'll continue indefinitely until I manually quit the game.

Well the update is finally here!

The 2 existing tables or boards.. or rooms :D left me wanting more. The Pirates one was my favorite of the two. Now we have the Western one and it is great! I can say now that this is worth the full price! A great feature of this game us being able to customize the way the ball acts- from easy going to insane. Either way, they're both a challenge. Good job devs.

Pinball - But Not As You Know It

This game is so much fun. If you love pinball like me then you can't go wrong with this fantastic game. Pinball meets tennis. You are basically the flippers with rackets to hit the ball and keep it in play. Currently there are two tables with a third due soon. It doesn't sound a lot but there is so much to do on each table. Mini games to play and missions to achieve. I have spent hours trying to beat my high score and work my way up the leaderboard. It's also a surprising work out on the higher intensity levels. That ball can move!! Thanks to the game developers for this brilliant game. Can't wait for the Western table and hopefully more to come. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed. Update. I am loving this game even more now. Since my last review we have the Western table and now Speed added for free. Amazing. I can't decide which table I like the best. They are all so different and lots of fun to play. You really get a good workout once that ball gets moving especially with multi ball. One of my most played games on the Quest 3. Just one thing to the developers, any chance of more than 2 skip tokens for the missions? I hope you guys keep supporting the game and make more tables. Thanks devs. A solid 10/10 from me.

Great game

One of my favorite games, where I spent many hours, is Pinball Fantasies from 1992. This one is next level. Great idea and implementation. Only few minor glitches with ball going through racket, which is a bit annoying, but luckily it's really rare. Tables are interesting and fun, however I would say that 4 would feel as right amount for the base game.
