Predates Demeo by years.

Before I get into this, Demeo is one of my favorite VR games on the Quest. But quite a while back I played this little game on PSVR and loved it. While Demeo focuses on multiplayer, this is very much a single player fairy tale told in that Dungeons and Dragons table top style. The comparisons to Demeo would be unavoidable, but this game came way before that. However, if you do enjoy one, you should enjoy the other. This one really focuses on story while the other is more about dungeon hunting with friends. Very happy to double dip on this and play it portable.

Best Game I Played in Occuls Quest 2

I find this game to be a one person board game that will make you think 🤔 to play it. You move your players with a set of cards that the game will give you. Make sure you pick the right card or it may cost your player dearly. I find I keep wanting to play for hours on this game. I love the visual effects and, story line spoken threw a bird 🐦. Getting emotional over figurines!

I haven't used my Quest for some time now, I got tired of all the fps games and short puzzle games.. I was waiting for something that you can actually invest time in and enjoy, like, really enjoy. Then I found this game. This game has it all - Adventures, monsters, emotions, narration (a mechanical bird?? Genius.), figurines, beautiful graphics... I really like the fact that you are given choices and those choices affect the entire game. That only means that you're gonna want to re-play the game and play differently. This game feels like a combination of Moss and Demeo. If you're looking for something like that, look no further. To the devs - 1. Please! Remove the skip dialogue feature from the trigger button! 2. Could you add an option to view your character's details without having to drag them to the wooden circle? 3. Will it be possible to "snap" the figurines to the grid? They keep falling off 😁 4. Thank you for creating this game!!!

A fun & unique Single Player D&D Game!

With Netflix’s Stranger Things bringing a fair bit of attention to Dungeons & Dragons, the re-release timing on this is solid as this is arguably one of the best representations of that tabletop game. If you enjoyed Demeo but craved more story and a more fleshed out campaign than this should scratch that itch quite nicely and while you are playing alone, Arbitix, your narrator, is a great companion to carry you on this fantasy journey. Good concept, frustrating gameplay

To preface, I would give this game 3 stars but I want more people to buy it so the game gains interest and is able to further develop. Demeo has much better gameplay, but lacks the DM/adventuring aspect. Here’s what I found annoying about the gameplay: -having to place the cards *exactly* in the right spot to use. -The tokens (characters) constantly fall over and getting them back on the board after checking their stats is finnicky and resulted in glitches of characters getting stuck -rolling the dice isn’t very satisfying because you have to be more careful about them staying on the board -reading the text of the cards is tough and the descriptions aren’t very clear. For example I would expect the whirlwind card to work around characters on each tile around the token, but it doesn’t. -you can’t move the board around or view from different angles I played on the medium storytelling(?) setting and I won’t lie - the storyline is confusing. There’s no inventory for clues picked up, just a schematic they pop up a few times. At one point a dying character makes a cage comment and the DM is like “oh great now you know everything”, like….what?! All in all, I hope this game gets developed further. It has a lot of potential.
