I always loved escape games and ever since I started to hear about VR I wondered how it would be to play a game like that with that much immersion. The Rabbit Hole delivers it. It's the best experience I've had on the Gear VR so far, the only one that made me not take off the visor for over 40 minutes of straight game play. Great game, congratulations to the team.

This is an escape the room game with an amazing, immersive and creepy ambiance and a very unique game play centered around changing your size and the scale of the world. Very challenging and fun, highly recommended!

I really regret buying this game. It has a lot of potential but it's highly frustrating (time constraint and no help) so there is very little enjoyment. If I wanted to be stressed out with deadlines I would go to work.

Well, this is a shame. What we have here is an interesting take on the escape room genre: a sinister and unsettling play on the Alice in Wonderland mythos, but as others have previously stated in regards to the Oculus Go, it starts out buggy and winds up broken. Seemingly not far from the game’s conclusion, there is a door puzzle that you cannot interact with, thus hindering your progress. And that is that. This was a frustrating and disappointing development because up to that point, the game had its strengths and likely would have gotten a recommendation from me. It establishes a strong paranoiac atmosphere, with superb sound effects like your heartbeat slowly speeding up, and the sounds of something approaching your room, that adds to the tension. The music is very well done, with supremely macabre tones that don’t allow much relaxation. There is one highlight of what I experienced that I’m not sure whether I should share or not. On the one hand I don’t want to spoil it for you, but on the other hand I don’t recommend you spend the money on this since you won’t be able to complete it anyway, at least for the Go. Let’s just say it involves an elixir that shrinks you down to the size of a bug, and what happens next is chilling. It’s a fantastic aspect of the gameplay that does two things: demonstrates how this game could have been brilliant, and perplexes as to how we don’t see more of this in VR. For all of these reasons, this was a big disappointment. Now, if you own a Gear VR, you can probably disregard my review, as it likely works just fine there. However, if you own a Go, stay far away unless something is done to fix it. You won’t be the only thing going down the rabbit hole, so will your money.

I loved playing this game. The graphics are wonderful, very detailed. It makes great use of VR space. You character can shrink in size or become a giant. The puzzles were a good amount of fun. Last but not least, it was surprisingly creepy. Truly enjoyed the play time. I wish it was a longer game. Please consider adding other levels soon!
