Amazing Dance Game!!!

I’m not much of a dancer, and I don’t usually play dance games, but this game was so much fun to play! Being able to dance so closely with a partner helped me feel a little more familiar and confident with dancing like those As someone who has never done salsa before the lesson was informative and concise in its teachings. Match Me was my favorite mode - it was high energy, a good balance of fun and genuine challenge. It was much more of my style!

WOW! This is great!

This is the smoothest and coolest dance game on VR! It does a lot of things really well and is really fun! Way more than a salsa tutorial. The music is a lot better than the other salsa apps I tried, it has real sound track not just basic sounding latin songs designed for lessons only The partner dancing is very impressive and the match me part is really cool with Just Dance vibes but more interactive and responsive. The salsa lesson is also cool, I'm really learning the steps from this!

The Future of VR Dance

I have played so many dance games over the years - first Just Dance on the wii, then held on to my connect for a long time. Dance Central and others are long time favorites. I also was on a dance team in real life, so this type of game speaks to the heart! This has two awesome components - the first is the rhythm mode. This is such a wide appeal, and I really like the way the patterns were done. Easy and enjoyable. The partner dance feels magical - this is where the tech in VR is amazing today and speaks to the future. It feels like a safer space to learn partner dance. The Salsa is intriguing, would definitely like to see more of this in the future. Definitely recommend this title whether you are looking for just a fun, get up and moving dance game or something where you can pick up new skills.

It's a start...

It has potential. I like it more as a learning tool than to free dance which feels weird. I mean it's cool, but I enjoyed the Salsa lesson portion of it more as it had guidance. Price point is hard to beat, I'll keep it and see what it does. In my time in VR, devs seem to abandon these games after a bit. I hate that the stars don't show right. I gave it 3 stars, not 5.

A REAL VR DANCE SCHOOL

The way the partners react is amazing: you guide their hand, you link a step, you attempt a more ambitious move, and everything remains fluid and intuitive. It creates a great atmosphere, even in your living room! Between the training modes, the "Match Me" style solo choreography, and the announced future styles, you can feel the desire to make dance accessible, fun, and rewarding. The MR/VR transition adds a real thrill, as if you're traveling with your partner from one setting to another. Trip The Light manages to make learning fun, accessible, and rewarding. It's a dance companion that puts you in a good mood and makes you want to progress day after day, step by step!
