Dynamic&Dangerously Addictive Roguelite!

Vex Mage is a fast-paced roguelite that absolutely nails the balance between accessibility and depth. The sheer number of gameplay mechanics, weapon options, and possible combinations is mind-blowing, offering endless ways to experiment and strategize. Solid game, probably the next vr staple

As the title suggests vex mage is a really solid game, no bs or insanely complex mechanics. Just a simple and solid rougelike with neat spell mechanics. That being said, I have two points that are important to consider; 1: its a rougelike and a hard, fast paced one at that. Meaning you'll die, a lot and need the tutorials. It also means the gameplay can get a tad bit repetative espessially considering there is only three spells (not dissing them though because all three are fun and the combinations are cool) 2: motion sickness, if you are prone to it be careful and possibly pass on this because of the fast paced nature of the game. Ultimately vex mage looks and feels like a great addition to any vr collection and belongs in the same tier as blade and sorcery or superhot as classic single player games.

Really fun!

Of all the roguelikes/roguelites I've played on VR so far (and there have been quite a few lol), this is by far the coolest looking. Like most games of this genre, it's incredibly addictive too. I keep dying after entering the portal after the first area, but hopefully I get the hang of it enough to get further. The game looks beautiful, the magic is pretty good (granted, I only understand one of the runes because I didn't do the training mode yet lol), and it's really fast paced. I'm actually surprised at how fast you can move with all that's going on in the game, which is also a plus. I recommend this one. Worth the money

This is incredibly boring.

Wow after seeing all these awesome reviews. I thought o would try this game. Probably the Devs making the reviews, as this was the most boring wave shooter crap. If you want a basic game fine. That’s what you get here. All this wave based trash is so old. This is a game from a triple A company, yet I’ve seen indie games way more fun. Sorry devs you may be offended by my opinions, but I don’t give a crap. It’s called conservative criticism. Take what you can, and god sakes make it better.

Fast paced and kick A$$!!!

This game is very cool and is a fun and unique experience. The floating/flying and gliding mixed with the elemental conjuring while sawing thru the different types of enemies is just insanely fun. One of those easy to jump into but difficult to master. There is definitely a technique involved that takes some learning and time to get used to. This is a great game and congratulations to the developers on this. Great job and excited for the future of this one!
