Would Be 5 Stars: Bring Back Bike Race!

Have been a huge fan of VZFit as it got my exercise bike out of the closet! So many people complain about the photo "stitching" but I think it's extremely innovative and immersive: they have achieved a great balance of music, scenery, movement (lean to steer!), and motivation to where I actually feel like I went somewhere. I have had a blast riding through places I've traveled and today rode with a friend and she showed me her vacation spot and gave me a tour! THE ONLY ISSUE IS: They used to have a Tour De France style bike race where riders would get mad if you were drafting etc and for whatever reason I would get the best workout of my life trying to beat other riders. For whatever reason they merged the games and REMOVED the best one but kept the annoying ones: who wants to ride a horse on a bike when you could actually ride a bike in a race??? I have requested multiple times but feel like it's not going to happen. Really was the strongest portion of the game for people really trying to get a good workout, feels like they shot themselves in the foot and people I had ready to join me in subscribing have passed on it in favor of harder workouts. Definitely worth a try but really missing something now 😓

Great support; and a request

I've been enjoying riding my stationary bike while using VZfit and VZplay. I recently ran into a problem after VZfit and VZplay were combined into one app. The problem was that my bike wasn't "going" anywhere. That is, the scenery was not moving past me while I was pedaling. My "wheels" weren't even going around. I contacted customer support and Eyal answered and, after exchanging some info (I learned how to capture video and send it to him!), he asked if I was in the comfort mode in settings. Turns out, I was. Once I changed that, everything turned out great! Positives Customer Support is great! Eyal was so patient with me as I fumbled around to get him the info he needed. And his responses were timely and very helpful. I love the VZplay apps; so much fun to exercise with (and I am a lifelong hater of exercise!) Negatives Prior to using VZfit, I was using YouTube videos to "ride" with. There are so many bike ride vids shot via GoPro type cameras mounted on the rider's helmet or handlebars and shot in hundreds of different locations. And also many are using 360 degree videos. But when I started using the rides in VZfit, it was all this Google Earth stuff, which have awkward scene changes and when there are buildings or vehicles, these items become flattened as you pass. It's a very poor experience compared with the YouTube videos. I wish the VZfit developers could use these real videos and somehow connect them to the user's bike cadence thingy instead of the horrific (IMO) Google Earth. In the meantime, I will only "ride" with YouTube or the VZplay apps. And speaking of the VZplay apps...prior to the abovementioned integration of Vzfit and VZplay, there was a VZplay app called "Le tour" and "Cali Rally". The simulated a bike race with other animated racers; you would go through several "gates" and with each gate came a suggested challenge, such as "ride faster" or "pass 4 riders before the next gate", etc. I really liked that app . Please bring it back!

Don’t like it

App activated my free 7 day trial without notifying me. You can’t cancel. I had to delete the app and delete my cc info. Emailed their customer service awaiting for a reply. I don’t like this app, I was interested in bike riding but it’s poorly designed. Idea is great execution is not.

Best motivation ever!

I’m a cardiac arrest survivor and I use this app everyday. I’m 64 and I started out riding maybe 4 miles a day with it but because it’s so much fun to visit new places, I now ride 12-16 miles a day! Using this app consistently I’ve improved my heart health from an EF rate of 28 to a now rate of over 55! That’s in the normal range . It’s like traveling anywhere you want to in the world! Such an awesome escape from reality. The app uses google for images so it’s only as smooth as google. I get very bad motion sickness but haven’t had any issues with VZFit. After almost 4 years I still use it as much as ever.

Cannot Resubscribe

My problem was resolved quickly and efficiently by Eyal and Robert Collins. Am back to playing Vzfit and V Play and am enjoying the experience. I played VZfit for a month and decided to cancel it. Was canceled for about 3 months then I saw that VZPlay was looking interesting so I decided to start VZfit back up. Subscription went through Oculus with no problems but my VZfit account shows as inactive. Have been emailing VZfit who said to talk to Oculus and emailed Oculus who said to talk to VZfit. Have gotten no solutions yet. Still out a month's subscription fee. Hopefully someone will rectify the situation.
