Update: Finished. Really good one! Would encourage the developer to continue with this. Some scenes and effects look even better than in Eclipse Edge of Light, and it is immersive and fun to play. Like the elevating platforms a lot, this is great in VR! Good game, it seems the dev is a big fan of Eclipse Edge of Light as the scenes are very similar. But it is fun to play nevertheless.

Billed as a FPS/exploration/puzzle hybrid, this game certainly delivers on all those fronts while somehow being more than merely the sum of those parts. In many ways, this title theoretically should not have worked: it heavily borrows so many elements from other games, it has many stylistic similarities to other titles, sometimes it’s not sure what it wants to be, and the graphics are not exactly cutting edge. Yet, all of those supposed weaknesses are somehow also its strengths. In regards to emulating other games, the premise and tone are so familiar that many people have dubbed it “Eclipse: Edge Of Light with a gun.” This generalization is understandable, but a generalization nonetheless. I did not feel it to be merely a retread, but an evolution, much like how Eclipse seemed to evolve from the very basic concepts of Land’s End and Daedalus. I would modify the comparison to be “imagine Eclipse with a 90’s Doom-like element added, minus the epic grandeur.” In addressing the dissonant hybrid style, it just works. Like how a recipe calls for various ingredients that somehow mix and add up to a fine dish. It can’t be merely described but experienced. For the cheap price tag, this experience is a must. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but not only that, I was thoroughly surprised that I enjoyed it so much. For content-to-dollar ratio, it’s right up there with the best value of anything on the platform.

very good graphics, smooth framerate. my only request would be to see where I am aiming the gun, now i have to shoot 2-3 times before i know where i am aiming... and when i shoot enemy's they often get the jump on me, even if i am seeing them coming from far away already... seems like the hit detection is not accurate. If not for these things, i would give it 5 stars. update : the new levels are very dark for me, i can not see anything around me more than a few feet away now. Maybe It would be even better to have a last pointer to aim, (that also acst as a sort of flashlight), + some form of aim assist options.

This is the type of game I have been waiting for the Go. Great atmosphere, puzzles and shooting mechanics here. For this low price Wrong Voyage Ex is an outstanding deal. It just keeps getting better and better. I am really enjoying it.

of Art! Great immersive atmosphere with simple but beautiful graphics. Controls are good but would much better if you could walk backwards. Could you please add a possibilty to walk backwards, for example with gamepad support?
