Secret of Harrow Manor

About

Release date

March 14, 2018

Publisher

Only Human Studios

I created Secret of Harrow Manor because I wanted to experience a survival horror style game in mobile VR that had slow zombies and a creepy abandoned house. I tried to capture some of that B horror movie type feel, so If that sounds like your cup of tea as well, enjoy!

Features: -4 interconnected levels filled with monsters and items -A co-op multiplayer mode with random enemy and item spawn locations -A carefully crafted inventory system, watch your ammo so you don't get caught by surprise!

Updates

Gamepad Support Has Been Added!

April 28, 2018

After a few people asked for it, I finally put in gamepad support! Thank you for the feedback guys. Also the zombies have been given a little love and you can headshot them now! (They also may or may not lunge at you now, look out!) The video is from a streamer playing on the PC, I liked it a lot…

Hard to get started.

Don't like that you can't see very far, zombies are hard to kill, no time for reloads, movement seems to be fine, can't start a co-op game. Otherwise. Ok.

NO SteelSeries XL controller support.

Unbelievable & unacceptable. I read all the reviews. I see the developer is obviously hands on right here in review section. I see how developer claims controller support. It's the reason I bought the game. To no avail. Very, very disappointed. The game looks fantastic. But I'll never know for sure. Asking Oculus support for refund.

A lot of fun, with some room to improve

This is game is a great time overall, with fun mechanics, with some parts really thought through. The graphics are top notch for mobile VR, and the occasional scares are fun, and the dev gets the fear of being chased perfectly! The 3D speakers in headphones and on the go are amazing in this game, adding a good sense of hearing while playing throughout the levels. I only have a few complaints. The werewolf kill rate is very confusing, ranging from easy to ridiculously hard. Once, I killed one with only two shots, but with others, it can take up to six, even with nailing headshots! I love that there is no aiming guide, giving it a realistic feeling, and the inventory usually doesn’t act up. Sometimes, I will try to click on one object, but another is selected (usually a flashlight). Also, no easy to access community to organize matches, unlike blood eclipse, which does have a discord community behind it for matches. Also, I felt like the ai is a little better than blood eclipse, but there is till occasionally the stupid zombie walking into walls. Menu works fine, and levels are fun to progress through. Good job and a thumbs up to the dev, and can’t wait for more updates and content (:

Good but multi player crash

The game is awesome my brother and I enjoy playing together. And the multi player works until one of us dies. We can't load back into where we left off. And when one of us tries to make a new room the game crashes.
