Best gaming experience of my life!

Hands down one of the most incredible gaming experiences I’ve ever had. As a real-world skydiver, aviation enthusiast, and longtime gamer, this simulator takes everything I love and launches it to new heights — literally. The fact that I can skydive anywhere on Earth blows my mind. Whether I’m soaring past iconic landmarks, diving down sheer mountain faces in speed-flight mode, or just cruising around with rocket hands like some gravity-defying tourist in Google Earth — it never gets old. The virtual skydiving aspect is the star of the show for me. I’m able to practice approaches, free-fly with friends and coaches, and chase that perfect Cavern run — again and again. The sense of freedom is unreal. One minute I’m threading the arm of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, the next I’m wingsuiting through alpine valleys with nothing but pure flow and adrenaline. This game lets me experience what the best in the world do — virtually. And the challenge modes? Absolute fire. If you’re into flight, thrill, and open-world exploration with a real edge… this game is it. I can’t get enough. Rinse and repeat. Skies forever.

I really like it, but....

I just found this Sim and started playing and I've got to say I'm really enjoying it. The mechanics are awesome. The Google Earth feature is great for what it is. But, there are a couple things that just ruin the immersion for me. First, my arms seem extremely long. My real life hands are sitting approximately where my in-game wrists are and then the hands extend beyond that it's kind of off-putting. Secondly, I think the spatial audio needs some work. When another canopy opens from an AI or such it doesn't matter how far away they are from you it sounds like they're right on top of you and that too is a little off-putting. Both of the things I mentioned are small in comparison to the enjoyment that I'm getting out of the game but they do exist so I thought I would bring them up.

Very well done

I'm 71 and a SCS/SCR, JM from way back. Made a first jump in Hawaii in 1980. I was also a jump pilot. Lost a lot of friends in 1981 and another in 83. My log books show 682 leaps. I bought this game last night. Only had the S3 VR a couple of days. Downloaded, installed, selected Hawaii and did the "jump" from the balloon. I did a hop & pop from the platform and did a X-country. The feeling of being under a canopy was surreal. I would bury a toggle, l spiral and could feel my body whipping around!! I purposely pulled both toggles to my hips and stalled out the canopy and released. The canopy surged forward as expected (hated that feeling, LOL) I did not play any of the point gathering. All I wanted to do was fly. I did not recognize the terrain. I was looking for Dillingham airfield and DZ, so I did a landing on the beach with a nice flare. My body reacted much as under canopy and I am not doing any Shrooms!! I could feel it. Loved it. Of course, I will be far more critical after "playing" more but I am stoked. My last logged jump was 1990 in a little field north of Charleston. The WV New River bridge jump used to be on my bucket list but a few MC wrecks killed that. I was hoping for real terrain using something like GoogleVirtue earth. Not sure how possible that is. It would be so cool to jump into known DZs with real terrain. I'd pay some serious $$ for that upgrade.

Amazing

Bought this game awhile back and was super impressed, notwithstanding having never skydived in real life. Fired it up again for the first time in a long time after the recent Google Earth update and was blown away. Love it, immediately jumped in a hot air balloon able my work place and from above my childhood home. Crazy.

This is amazing

I was into skydiving for 5 years and had almost 300 jumps. This Sim is very on point when it comes to controlling free fall and canopy work. I love Google earth option!
