As a person who has been crippled since birth, I have always had to deal with accessibility issues. Certain controllers just don't work with my hands. Most are fine or I can at least get something to work. Had to modify my right quest controller so I could use the trigger for example. I say all of this to give some perspective why I hate so many devs on the quest. I have never felt such emnity in my life. Too many devs just refuse to acknowledge that there even exists the possibility that someone might not like the control schemes they have made. (Looking at you dash dash world). They act like it would take them too much effort to give more options. Then we have amazing devs like those who have made stones of harlath. They have put to bed any arguments that the development isn't worth it. I reached out to them on release to express my concerns about accessibility. That same day I heard back and they said they were going to work on it. A couple weeks later and their updates for control schemes is implemented and it is perfect. There are enough options for comfort and usability that I believe everyone will find something that fits them. I know I haven't really discussed the actual game, but accessibility is so important to some of us that I think it needs to be pointed out. Anyways, the game itself is amazing. The art style is charming and the way you control your spells is awesome. It isn't really anything we haven't seen before as far as sword combat and gesture based spells go, but it is a really solid example. The quests are simple too, but I think that adds to the charm. The devs are trying to bring us back to those old school days as a kid where you were so immersed that you felt like you were in the game. The graphics didn't matter as our imagination filled in the gaps. All in all, I highly recommend this game. If for nothing else, grab it to show support for devs doing what they can for accessibility.

So I just got the third spell after beating the first dungeon and gotta say this game is great but I do have some thoughts about what is needed to improve, firstly there is no left handed mode which for me is a problem as I am left handed it’s not much of a problem cause I’m used to games doing this to me but it does get kinda annoying sometimes and my other problem is the voice acting it needs work it sounds like it was recorded on the first take and some characters sound awful it really takes me out of the game other than these two things the game is awesome Edit: the devs have said left handed mode should come in a future update

You can feel the love and care that went into making this fantasy game a reality. There’s a perfect balance of verity in this game from different level designs to different enemy types to battle! Mechanics are skillfully developed and one of the nicest motion comfort controls I’ve seen. Stones of Harlath is priced perfectly snd you’ll get lots of enjoyment out of every dollar spent There are two things however that would have granted this title an even higher price tag… 1) voice acting: sounds amateur and even mic quality felt inconsistent. It broke immersion 2) characters where too flat and too pixelated. Broke immersion. I feel like if they just went back and doubled the pixel count on characters, it would better achieve the style they are going for. If you’re even slightly on the fence about this game… I say buy it and thank me after!

I feel like this game should be 15-25$ for the content it has, for anyone on the fence for this game, here's why you should buy it: ---------- Open world-ish Amazing Weapons/spells Beautiful world A lot of pretty cool enemies to fight An alright story An "Arena mode" to fight endless enemies after you beat the main game ---------- All for just 10$! I definitely recommend buying this game Dev note: If you read these, I think this game is perfect for a DLC sometime in the future, going to a new island with new dungeons and some new spells to discover, would love to see that, anyway this game is phenomenal and I really hope it pays off for all of you :)

Wholly ship, this game is the embodiment of "you don't need good gfx for a game to be good". But the pixel sprites are purposeful and adds to the atmosphere of the game. I hope and pray that they add tons of dlc and new islands. Tldr: buy it, best $10 your gonna spend.
