Draw & Code

Submit to the judgement of The Taskmaster in glorious VR! The hit TV show comes to VR and YOU are the contestant. Endeavour to complete a menagerie of weird and wonderful tasks and get creative in how you solve them!

The goal of Taskmaster VR is simple - complete tasks and impress The Taskmaster. Sound easy? Well, it never is. These tasks are taxing and The Taskmaster is not known for being lenient

YOU VS THE TASK

Mastering tasks requires skill, patience and grace. And if that fails, just throw things around and hope for the best - you can use whatever comes to hand to do whatever you need to do.

EXPLORE THE WORLD OF TASKMASTER

The Taskmaster House is a colosseum of foolhardy pursuits and a theatre of broken dreams. The Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies, and his long suffering assistant Little Alex Horne will have more than a few things to say about your efforts in a fully voice acted performance from the deadpan duo.

WIN THE TROPHY, LOSE YOUR DIGNITY

Become the series champion and be bestowed with a tremendous trophy in a fetching shade of not-quite-gold - but winning isn’t everything - your score reflects your individual journey, and even low scores contribute to your story. You’ll see things that the overachievers of this world never will!

MAKE YOUR OWN TASKS IN CREATIVE MODE!

Your journey won't end when you lift that shiny golden head - Creative Mode lets you slip into Alex and Greg’s shoes and create your own tasks - perfect for challenging your friends in local play.

A must for fans of the show!

Getting belittled by Greg after failing to make a sandwich to his liking is something I never knew I needed in life. A great game for fans of the show!

Makes me sad having to review it so low

This game has all the ideas that make a perfect and fun Vr game. Unfortunately, playing this on Quest 3 is a rough experience. Visually low res and blurry with constant framerate hiccups and really janky controls/camera movements. Feels like this game was still awhile from release and a little bit rushed. :( During the first task, I glitched up into the sky and got stuck, unable to walk and with all this the intricacies of the tasks (ie peeling post it notes) makes it more frustrating than fun. The game and its ideas would easily be a 5* (not hard it's just taskmaster) But the quality of the finished product is no more than 2*

More fun than I expected

Such an amazing game, especially for a longtime fan of the show. I was fan-girling over everything and squealing, so cool to be "in the house, on the property, and in the studio". Haha it was so fun to be belittled by Greg, Alex REALLY is annoying 😅 and I understand the contestants all the more. Most of them at least lol. The tasks were fun and it is challenging, the controls are a little jenky and it did make me a bit sick but it was 100% worth it to me! Can't wait to play again. 🥰🥰🥰 Also love all the easter eggs throughout "Brace! Brace!" So fun!! Thank you guys for recording your voices and to everyone involved in the process. So awesome.

Worth it!

UPDATE 1: since the new update (in my case on quest 2) the game IS SO MUCH more enjoyable. The graphics are much much better and I can now travel with things in hand (where before I had trouble and things would sometimes fall behind). Will try to play all the levels again to test the clash detection with the ground but the update already turned it into a 5 star game. Loved the tasks. IDEA: I don't know if it is possible, but it would be cool to download and do tasks made by users ORIGINAL: Soooo... I love the game but I'm not giving more stars because I expected a little more from the image resolution even after reading the comments. The games are great (5 episodes with 3 tasks each and some little games), fun and entertaining. But the pixelated image and the constant blur when moving takes a little bit of the fun. Gave 3 stars because the idea is amazing and I hope that the developers make some updates soon at least to the resolution. Will update the review when that happens. For the developers: There's a problem too with the commands. Sometimes it feels that I can push the table and all the set moves. And the reset view doesn't make the correct reset, resulting on me feeling desoriented sometimes. About the resolution, when recording it seems amazing on video, but during the play it's pixelated and blurry

Spectacular recreation

As a fan of Taskmaster, I've been waiting for this game for a while, and it absolutely feels like you've been dropped inside the show. I've only done the first "episode," terribly, as it happens, but had so much fun doing it. Like the show, it's a "season" made up of what appear to be 5 episodes, each with 3 tasks. There are also mini tasks, and you can replay an episode or tasks from the episode. Highly, highly recommend if you enjoy problem/puzzle solving games. The banter is very true to the show, and if you have to replay a task, you can skip it by picking up the task letter. All that said I did have a few glitches, like objects going through the spatulas in the first task and the watermelon dispenser breaking a watermelon and then not dispensing any more on the last, but overall, I am totally blown away. Definitely worth the wait.
