Gesture spell casting!

As I just bought a game an hour ago and can just play only one round. It seem to be a great game. To be fair I will give 5 stars for the part I've already play. Will write more review later. Update: After a few more play this game really hurt my arm lol. To maintain your combo you need to switch between all spells. The gameplay is so simple just kill anything that move and block anything throwing at you. It would be cool if there a co-op mode or other game mode which you can move between position like Wands. And I'm not a fan of gate keeper game so lets those hords comes to attack me instead of running pass by. And.. throwing fireball seem to fail oftenly. Bait style works a lot better on throwing things. Please fix.

Fantastic gesture based action!

This game does a phenomenal job of porting the core hand gesture based spell casting from the PC VR version of The Wizards to the single 3DOF controller for the Go/Gear VR. All of the great gameplay from the main game is there including spell skill trees and variety, great voice acting and graphics and frantic battles against orcs. It has leaderboards that will keep me practicing my wizarding technique as well. A great value at just under $4 for a polished, action oriented game.

Great Game!!!

I enjoy the game mechanics & the ease of arcade style game play. The controls work perfectly. The game developer's did a great job!!! 👍👍

Great gameplay, but...

I feel that this is probably the most creative and immersive use of the controller yet on the Oculus Go. I have a really great time casting spells and it feels natural. It feels satisfying to cast a fireball or lightning bolt and strike the enemy with it. My only gripe is that this game seems like it was created only to demonstrate this spell casting system. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great time, but I feel like this game could be simply a feature in a much larger picture. I would pay 10x the price if it meant I got an RPG-like experience with this kind of system rather than just a wave clearing game. But I’m still happy with this product, I’m definitely excited to show this to my friends. Keep up the good work!

Nice wave shooter

Imagine you are a wizard and the last defense to an invasion of orcs, trolls, phantoms and other assorted minions of the dark. You have fireball, lightning and magic missile spells at your disposal. You can level up various factors associated with them to increase damage, accuracy and speed. You learned how to cast these spells via a tutorial. Pros: Amazing Graphics (they really did an awesome job on this!), production value, atmospherics, story based Cons: the controller is a little wonky to use and the instructions aren’t quite as clear as they could be, can get repetitive as all wave shooters can If you like wave shooters, magic and all things D&D/Fantasy consider this game. Note that I received this key for free from the Reddit giveaway.
