Great game until it changed

I absolutely loved this game, escapism, lovely scenery, decent gameplay. I got to build a beach house which was great. I spent a lot of time playing and building (52 weeks in game land time). They added an option where you could build your own worlds/game and this was also great so I spent some time doing just that. There were teething problems but all ironed out. Then I returned to the main game to find that the base landscape had been changed, hills had been deleted. The hills which I had built my houses into. I asked on the discord group why and if they could be restored and was told 'I didn't realise those 'small hills' would be so important to you' and 'if we add the hills back they will cover new houses' and 'I wonder if it's possible to make repairs to your houses' <----so 1. others game play is much more important than mine? 2. I'm expected to make repairs 'to fill in the gaps'. It's not gaps it a lot of work, which actually means starting again. The second response changed tack and I was told 'It's not that we are unwilling to restore it to its previous state it's that we can't'. NB. I understand it's in beta but this is not a small change to the landscape, they have removed two massive hills with no warning and obviously no thought of 'some' of their players. In all my years of gaming I have never experienced something like this. I would advise to avoid or at least be aware that there is a disregard/thoughtlessness once you've bought the game.

Getting creative

I have been playing this game for quite some time and I have to say that I love this game, even more since multiplayer was implemented. I have an online friend I have known for at least 17 years and we have such a great time creating together! Nothing we do is on a small scale. We played a large part in reporting bugs in the early days of multiplayer, and the creators were always very quick at fixing anything that was wrong. They also listen to player suggestions and are working hard to add more to the game to make it enjoyable. I have seen some really wonderful creative worlds! You are only limited by your own imagination!

Could be a favorite but annoying

I love the game but theres a few things that are annoying!!! There doesnt seem to be any direction on some stuff for example i have a load of books with furniture the supplies to make them but no option to make them, i cant get birds eggs cause i cant get to the birds nest and no direction on how to get them, kill a shark how? Kill a seagull theres seagull sounds but no actual seagulls there alot of tasks to do but no direction on how to do them guide is basic and no youtube videos so youre stuck needs more guide/direction

Smooth low poly well designed survival

Ah a survival game where i can locomotion and teleport at the same time! Really enjoying this one - you can play it standing up or seated. You don't need to crouch down to grab stuff just point your hands and press the trigger. Put the item over your shoulder to put in your backpack The tools you grab don't have physics when you're holding them they're just snapped to your hand so don't expect hugely immersive axe swinging to shop down a tree its easy and comfortable. Crafting is easy you just bring up a book, select the thing you want and craft it (you just need to be high enough level and have the resources). Very streamlined but has what you need - i love games where you're on an island and stuff washes up ashore and you have rocks, trees, etc. Kinda reminds me of stranded deep but with cartoony low poly graphics. I'd give it 4 stars because there's lots of little things that could be improved like if I throw a rock its velocity is set to 0, the backpack is awkward to grab (but I much prefer to hit the button instead) and when I chopped down a fallen tree branch it just disappeared and the items spawned on the ground so could use more polish but it's developed by only 2 people and someone gave it one star because they removed a hill during early access and really THATS worth dropping your rating to 1 star and lowering the score of the app!? Game has lots of ingame hints but best way to learn how to play it is to watch the youtube trailer after you've given it a go and you'll be like ooooh the hammer let's me reposition stuff etc

Game is good, but the snakes are scary

Even I chose to remove animals from the settings, there are still snakes in the cave. This very much affects my gaming experience as I am physiologically intolerant of snakes. Hope anyone can let me know if I am not doing it correctly or hope someone can fix it, because some people might have specific phobia to those type of animals, like me.
