Devs made an amazing call with this game

They made the game itself free for everyone with the option to support the devs by buying the unlock for any customization, but not hindering the ability let friends play together. Need an online game you want to play with friends but don’t want to commit to a price tag before you even try the game out firsthand? This is an amazing start. You played a long enough session to be able to make a decision to either move on or support the devs by buying the unlock for everything else? Fantastic. Sounds like you had an experience where the only thing you’ve spent so far is time. This is a great practice that I’m glad the developers took the time to even consider making as a decision to the public. Would highly recommend everyone give this a shot.

The game is very fun, but I’m here to talk about the secret logo, if the dev sees this you know what I’m talking about, let’s just say the game glitched me into the wrong spot and I saw some things that we put there on purpose, I think it’s kind of funny that you guys did that.

Very rough ride

It's free so you may as well try it anyways but I'll try to speak purely to quality here. Much like another reviewer I was met with an infinite black screen the first time I tried to load the app. Restarting it fixed the issue, however. The game itself is very rough. I love kart racers: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of my favorite games and Dash Dash World is one of my favorite VR games. Touring Karts however isn't nearly as good as that. The handling is very weird. Drifting usually feels satisfying in kart racers but here it feels like it puts your kart on ice. Courses are designed around it but it's unsatisfying. Getting hit by weapons is frustrating because there's usually no indication of what hit you: you'll just stop or spin or slow down. Dash Dash World fixes this by adding little character portraits showing who hit who with what along with other visual indicators so it's clear what's happening. The courses are largely uninteresting so far. They try to mix kart racing and formula 1 but it ends up satisfying neither: they're too bland for a kart racer, but not technical enough for a regular racer. Graphics are also pretty rough even for a Quest 1 game. I hate to keep comparing it given one is paid and the other isn't but DDW has better graphics with similar inconsistent performance. To say something nice, again it's free so you may as well try it and I'll keep trying to see if something *clicks* for me and the idea of combining weapons seems fun. However, if you're looking for a great VR kart racer, expect to look elsewhere.

Fun be careful

It's pretty good Mario kart kinda game if you have that itch in VR. It has plenty of power ups and fun little things to be a fun time passer or competition game. Also you can mix the power ups which is really cool. I have warplanes and other high comfort games and this one still makes me feel funny after I play so be warned if you have ANY discomfort normally this may make you sick as you have to drive and use items by looking back, many moving parts. I'd definitely give it a try at least if you want a fun little karting experience

Does not have CHICKEN JOCKEY in it

I installed this game thinking that it would yearn for the mines, but was suprised when I found no CHICKEN JOCKEY
