It's Tron

This is something I've been pretty much waiting my whole life to play. An arcade racer, set in a neo futuristic setting. The game is pretty bare bones as far as presentation goes, but it gets the job done. The game runs really smoothly and is easy to play. I'm not great with motion sickness, and after five races had to take a break. Pro tip: Although it steers off of one controller, hold both out in front of you as though you were holding a steering wheel, when you corner turn your head and hands in that direction. You'll feel a lot less sick, and a lot more like you're in the game. It's a cheap game, and it offers good short bursts of fun. The engine sounds could be better. Edit: I discovered that you can make your helmet viewing area smaller, this really helps the motion sickness. Note to developer: Make the engine's sound powerful, instead of a low hum, add a 3.2.1 robotic countdown at the beginning of the race and some better upbeat music and I'll give this a straight five.

Gameplay is 5 stars, but...

Great game overall, probably my favourite VR game at the moment as I am a competitive racing game player. However there are a few small things I think the game is missing. It definitely needs a restart button on the pause menu. When I am going for leaderboard records, I have to exit the track then go back in, having a simple restart button would make it so much easier. Also the barriers in the "void" areas are hard to see on some tracks, like even impossible on a few tracks and I can't boost around them because I can't see them. The final thing i would say is to have a replay option after my run would be amazing, so I can film my runs after I finish them. I don't mean for online, just for leaderboards. Overall I think it's a great game and if any of these things are added I'll immediately change my rating to 5 stars.

Love it

Not a bad little racing game. Fast paced and lots of fun. I wouldn't suggest putting your arms out in front of you when steering you vehicle as your arms will tire quickly. I'd suggest putting them down to your waist a bit but out just far enough for the Occulus to be able to track your hands.. All in all a good rush of adrenaline....

Almost perfect.

I really like this game because it is well art directed. The gameplay is solid and I like how they made more options for steering the bike, my favorite being the steering wheel! I have 3 builds...1. I wish they would also make more options on how to press fire instead of just X. 2. It would be nice if there was an air brake for sharp turns. 3. Please add a machine gun or plasma cannon powerup! If these were implemented, this game can rival wipeout.

Motion sickness? Yes please!

I was a bit skeptical at first due to the large amount of negative reviews. Then I found out that they are mostly referring to motion sickness. Well, there's a helmet you can enable and you can set it as small as you like to limit the problem. I tried the normal-sized helmet and still had a bit of motion sickness at first, then during the race it went much better. Then I tried without the helmet: again a little sickness at first but then I embraced it and it was awesome. Come on, it's part of the fun! This game is an interactive rollercoaster, with cool graphics and soothing music. Very fun game, and also pretty cheap for its worth!
