Good game with a lot of potential

I am only part way in to chapter 2 right now to be fair. I can see the developer is reading reviews which is great and I hope they can take the feedback on board. I am enjoying the game so far, the atmosphere is fantastic. I loved 40k as a teen in the 90s I can't say I am a die hard fan but I do appreciate its depth and style. The game lives up to it nicely, on a par with Dawn of War 1 and 2 at least. I am new to VR, this is my first shooter and I am finding locomotion a bit of an issue. It would be great to be able to customise which stick does what, and also turn off teleport as I trigger it accidentally all the time. Finally some help text in the menus would help explain what some of the options mean, for example options like smooth, blend, snap could need some context for someone like me new to VR.

I’m too fat to grab grenades

I’m a huge warhammer fanboy, first off. Saw this in the store and no question. Had to buy it. As any other WH fan knows, they don’t have the greatest track record for gaming. Half of them are terrible. Well this one did not disappoint! I’m a picky gamer and don’t like playing as women. Don’t care in this game. (My avatars always look like me as well) The controls are simple to get the hang of, gun play feels satisfying and I got a halfchub when I found my first chainsword. This game is hard but not dark souls hard. There will be a few spots you’ll die and have to retry a few times but it’s nothing game ending aggravating. Now, the headline, right. Hahaha I’m too fat to grab grenades. You store grenades on the front of your belt in this game. Well when you look down at yourself, you’re a skinny, leather clad battle sister. I’m a beer bellied 42 year old man. In order to get the highlight on the grenade for me to grab it, I have to shove my hand under my gut and into my abdomen in order to get to where the grenade is stored on my skinny female VR self 😂😂 a little frustrating in the heat of battle but more funny than anything else. Anyways, if you’re a WH person, you’ll love it. Even if you aren’t it’s a very solid solo FPS shooter with a good solo campaign if you’re like me and not into the whole “being around other people” thing, even in VR.

In the Name of the God Emperor!

So good story mode, overall a grand game, the only thing I would like to see is more updates to make it Be more expansive especially since the lore of Warhammer 40K is pretty large! I would like to see Orks, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Khorne. I would love to see other chapters make a appearance such as the Crimson Fists, Space Wolves, and even the Salamanders! Bring out more with the Necrons, as well as the Heretics.

Very nice!

I only just started really getting WH40k about a year ago. (bought my first box of figures) But I’ve been in and out of the lore for years. It started with Warhammer 40k: Space Marine and I’ve basically been hooked since. I love that there is a console game that finally puts the Adepta Soraritas in the spotlight. I’m only on the second mission, but Im REALLY liking the game so far!

HERESY!!!

Stay away brother, if you're contemplating buying this game to experience 40k universe and lore forget it. I didn't spend much time in game like first thing and it smells like dei when you add poor graphics terrible physics and lack of options in settings its awful
