Not as good as Warplanes 1 -Disappointed

WW2 planes is very similar to WW1 planes which I did and still do love. WW2 planes has lots of positives –new graphics (love flying close to other planes esp our bombers), creaking planes, cannons, rockets, undercarriage, faster play, harder and more realistic, take off from a carrier etc However I still play WW1 planes in preference to WW2 planes and recommend WW1 planes over WW2 planes for a number of reasons. 1) WW2 planes has flaps which slow the plane down to a crawl. Go low under antiaircraft guns and the fighters will not get you either, pull on flaps and shoot the ground targets at your leisure at very slow speed then put flaps off and go up to finish the fighters. NB the same happens in WW1 –go low and you are essentially safe while you deal with the ground targets but at least you cant slow down to walking pace with the flaps. 2) Pulling flaps on at 100MPH should rip your wings off –it doesn’t and you slow right down. 3) WW1 has the ability to fly in 2 seater planes and in multiplayer my friends and I often do missions in the same plane. There are no two seater planes in WW2 4) Dropping bombs in WW1 has a user friendly sight but dropping bombs in WW2 is a dive bomb and the sight really doesn’t model your plane position and bomb position. 5) What is the point of dropping bombs in WW2 when rockets do the same damage and are easier to use. If you go to all the effort of dropping a big bomb at least let it destroy 3 buildings. 6) Landing -fly up to the carrier at max speed put down gear, pull on flaps, plane almost stops in midair and you land. 7) Others have mentioned it but why give an entirely different set of planes to use for flying with your friends? In WW1 planes you used the planes you had upgraded yourself. 8) In WW1 planes you can fly the opposition (ie Germans) in WW2 you cant so it is very one sided. Fix the flaps Fix the bombs Reinstate two seater and multi seater planes? At least address these issues before you bring out WW2 Europe

Just started playing - March 2025

I waited and waited, been reading reviews, and finally jumped in. I have been playing for 2 days and this is my bottom line - it’s worth the buy. If you have no experience with flight sims, you may struggle a lot. I disagree with the negative reviews out there regarding the game controls. Game controls are fine…absolutely fine. I was able to play and do missions right away. There is Co-op multiplayer, Vs. Multiplayer, single player, upgrades, plane upgrades, different missions. I am hooked! Well done guys….well done!

The game is great, but can be way better

I love the game it is very engaging and has fun combat, its controls was quite fun, but like i have seen in the reviews i do agree with one person who said that we need rearview mirrors to be able to keep track of whats behind us better, i also have experienced some glitches but its minor inconveniences mostly, but aside from that it has a lot going for it, i will say it is one of my favorite games i have so far, yet i still have not tried many pilot games, i would still say it was a great way to learn my interest in them. I would love more updates to the game and maybe more planes, I would also love it if there was a free roam mode where you could just fly around the world and see certain places, another great idea would be if they added an true free roam open world fighting version where you battled based on events going on at the moment, but these are probably pretty big and hard to do, but i see a lot of potential in updates and this game becoming massive and an more popular game if things like what i mentioned happened, especially if you added open world and multiple modes to multiplayer.

Needs Fiximg...PLEASE

This game plus the other two have been some of my most played games on my headset, but most of my issues come from this game, i will list them out (the ones I found) #1: The fighters with the tail gunners...please nerf them, I take 3 hits and Im falling out of the sky, theres one level I can't beat because those fighters tear me up immediately. #2: The boats on non sea maps are either levitating, or they are going into the ground. #3: I don't care but its annoying, decrease the number of flack guns on land maps please, many times thats the reason I die because of the damage and the number of them. If you read this game creator, please know I have no hard feelings, just want to have a good time in game without glitches or dying every second. 👌

Warplanes WW2

One of the best VR apps in existence. Place a flashlight or a toy kaleidoscope tube or the like through the strap of the right hand VR hand grip. Then place the entire set up under your legs stretch straight out and not too far forward or too far backward off course. You can intuit it. This creates a structural realism.
