Fantastic

I am a master of the animal simulator games. I was ecstatic once I found about this bat vr game. I bought a quest solely for this game. Once I started it I was a little confused. I didn’t see a nice bat. All I saw was a cylindrical bat. Odd I thought. It then dawned on me. They are going to lock the true bat behind this stupid mini game. Luckily I got through that part and now I can live out my dreams of being a bat.

Whacky Crazy Fun

How do I begin to start describing this game, imagine going through life with bats instead of hands. Well that’s what happens in this game as you grow from a baby through to adulthood going through each scenario and there’s 100 of them. It’s a lot of fun and also very satisfying whacking things. The levels seem to have good variety and keep you on your toes, I also found myself dancing to the music. I don’t think there’s much replay value to the game which is why I gave it 4 stars. If you want to check out some game play you can watch my video on my YouTube Channel Fun with the clicks

Best Thing to Happen to VR Since HL:Alyx

25% discount: tiny.cc/wtb25 Type the above URL in your browser! Ever since I first experienced the masterpiece that is “What the Golf!?”, I always said I’d give up a kidney to have a VR version of it, so $20 (with the code above) for WTB!? is a steal IMO… What the Golf is 1 of those games that has you grinning and giggling to yourself at 1 AM giving your significant other the wrong idea.. if you’re a fan of What the Golf then this game is for you… and if you’re not a fan of What the Golf, then you should try it….. stumbling on ‘What the Bat!?’ last week without any idea that it even existed, was like having no idea God of War Ragnarok was even in the works, and opening up the PSN store one morning to find out it not only exists but is already OUT. I own and have played every staple VR game on PSVR, PC and Quest… This game has become an instant classic for me… I was seriously bummed when it was over just as I was when I finished Ragnarok last month.. Once I hit the 7th level, I started worrying about the game ending, but it just kept going… and going, and kept impressing me with its creativity, the kind of creativity that VR has been sorely lacking… this game has more creativity in its first 5 levels than every VR game that’s come out this year combined… I can’t wait for the levels coming soon…

Perfectly hilarious

Finished my home run today and it was absolutely out of this world how this game knocked it out of the park!! I was already a massive fan of the developers having played What the Golf, so when I saw this it was an instant buy even at full price and was the first game I've played on the Quest 3, and I haven't touched any of the other games yet because I've been glued to this one. Having played their other game there were a few surprises that I saw coming, but far more where I still got the classic "what the..." moments.

You Never Know What To Expect!

Check out the first 30 minutes of gameplay here: https://youtu.be/cLi2JDXgdag Or just search ‘VR Reviews What The Bat?’ on YouTube. Based on playing over an hour (the game is said to last about 4 hours). Good > Unique, imaginative puzzles/mini-games. > Engaging gameplay. You never know what to expect! > Good physics and controls > Comfortable experience Negatives > Needs more modes/content > Limited replayability > Most puzzles are easy Verdict Even though there isn’t much of a challenge here, the imaginative mini games will probably hook you from start to finish. As fun as it is, without extra modes and features you probably won’t revisit it once completed. This game is ideal for someone new to VR or wanting a fun casual gaming experience.
